Human Growth and Spirituality

Human Growth and Spirituality

By Steve Beckow

Posted on January 7, 2025

The spirit is like a babushka doll; it has a different body on every level

I said some years ago that I needed to make some distinctions to help underpin a rebirth of personal development.

Here I’d like to distinguish between two classic avenues of unfoldment of our human potential: human growth and spirituality.

The first is body-centered as well as intellectual and manifested most clearly, in the West, in the human growth or human potential movement of the 1960-70s.

It sought to raise our sights from the merely intellectual or the intellctual alone to (the intellectual plus) the emotional/experiential. Remember my ladder of the dimensions of knowledge: intellectual, experiential, and realizational.

From the experiential, we were deemed to be well-positioned for realization. We were standing at the bus stop, so to speak. The rest was deemed to be up to God.

Bernadette Roberts: At a certain point, when we have done all we can (to bring about an abiding union with the divine), the divine steps in and takes over. (1)

Sri Ramana Maharshi: Your efforts can extend only thus far. Then the Beyond will take care of itself. You are helpless there. No effort can reach it. (2)

Cold Mountain Institute, whose three-month resident fellowship I attended in 1975-76, specialized in deepening our experiential knowledge by showing us how to release bodily and intellectual blocks.

They said they didn’t work with sick people getting well – per se. They weren’t (all) doctors and nutritionists. They worked with well people getting better.

They didn’t emphasize spiritual inquiry or practices as such. They might in passing and they might include a meditation or a “psychic” workshop in their residential retreats. But what they contributed to the pool of human knowledge by and large was the art of grounding us in our bodies and releasing our muscular and intellectual blocks.

***

The next stage after the experiential is the realizational.

The spiritual or realizational picks up where human growth leaves off.  It focuses on that which is in and operates the body – the unseen spirit.

It takes those “better” people, who still hunger for even more, and introduces them to the “even more.”

Courses might be offered in spiritual centers or a live-in option may be available at an ashram.

An ashram would specialize in deepening our consciousness state, through instruction in such spiritual pursuits as meditation or yoga.

***

“The spirit” turns out to be a Babushka doll: each dimension – and beyond – has a “body.”  Having gotten to know our own physical bodies in the human-growth work, we now get to know our other “bodies.” (3)

When it’s time, the spiritual calling happens in many ways. When I meditated on an Indian guru, whom I was later to visit, I experienced shaktipat, which I’m told translates as the bestowal of grace upon a follower.  His face came speeding out of the distance and hit my third eye.

I left the bedroom, dazed, and went into the kitchen and said to my then girlfriend, “Wow, you should see what just happened to me.” And she replied, “I can see. Go look in the mirror.” And, when I looked, my hair was standing on end.

It can start with a book falling off the shelf, a stray mention of a website, a sudden opening or vision. When your guides, archangel, and the Mother want to wake you up, they will. Well, they already have because you’re here and this is both a growth and a spiritual site. And we don’t advertise. We let Michael and the Mother bring whom they will.

And what about spiritual teachings on enlightenment? Ssocial media has changed the spiritual landscape. We don’t have to travel to India or Japan any more.  And they don’t have to travel to us.  And, besides, with the Ring of Fire or Wave of Love, everyone’s heart will be opened – for a while. What life will be like then I can hardly imagine. Imagine the whole world in deep, deep love.

I’m deeply grateful to my guides who arranged to have me do intensive human-growth work first and then introduced me to the spiritual.  I’d been reading spiritual books before this time but these days saw my first intentional actions, which were taken in growth.

I hope to see a return of the human growth movement after G/NESARA. Without it, spiritual work can sometimes, in the beginning phases at least, feel superficial.

If I skipped working with my body, I’d feel a lack of depth. I’d remain at the surface. But all that’s another article! And I’ve taxed your patience long enough!

(3) You could say we have no body above the Tenth or in the Transcendental. That’s also a way of seeing things that works. It ends up in the same place.

When I was in the Ocean of Love (seventh-dimensional), I was aware of myself as a point of awareness. This point of awareness that I was was differentiated from the Ocean of Love – which “I” was “in.”

That individuated point of awareness I still consider and refer to as a “body.”  On the Ocean of Love, search on that term in An Ascension Ethnography – Part 1 at https://goldenageofgaia.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/An-Ascension-Ethnography-V1-R2.pdf  Michael has verified that the tsunami of love I was in after the fourth-chakra heart opening on March 13, 1987 opened into the seventh dimension. I assume that the Ocean of Love that I ended up in at the end of that particular experience was at least seventh-dimensional. (There were no road signs.) Michael says;

Steve: The space that I call transformative love, what dimension is it?

Archangel Michael: It is the seventh dimension.

Steve: Then what dimension is bliss?

AAM: It is between eight and nine.

Steve: And ecstasy?

AAM: Twelfth.

Steve: And what about exaltation?

AAM: Then you have moved beyond. (Archangel Michael in a personal reading with Steve Beckow through Linda Dillon, Jan. 20, 2016.)

Connecting the Dots is Fun….

Connecting the Dots is Fun…

By Steve Beckow

Posted on October 25, 2024

Connecting the dots vis-a-vis our society and its institutions is fun, but not my main mission. It doesn’t feel like it is. I’ll do it as long as the cabal makes war on us. I’m in the army now, you might say, on loan to the dot-connecting department.

But my main mission remains to remind people in my writing about the centrality of love in … everything. The Mother explains:

Divine Mother: You have said to me, “Mother, what if they forget? I will remind them. I will communicate with them through words, through my passion, through my heart, through my knowing. I will communicate the love to them.”

This is your task and it is a task of change as this planet, in this great chaos, in flux, chooses, yes, by this wonderful instrument of free will, as they choose and as you choose to simply be the love. (1)

The Mother says her essence is love. Love is the sum of all enlightenment teachings and enlightenment experiences.

And of course, real love – transformative love – is the love we’ll be experiencing when the Mother’s gift of Christ Consciousness, which we call Ascension, brings that unimaginable love into our daily lives. (2)

We have our favorites. We have our self-serving bias. We have our idiosyncratic view of what’s happening in the world. And with this pre-existing filter, we set about connecting the dots from our perspective and hoping we can keep our filter, if not in check, at least in awareness.

***

We may also notice the cabal’s timing with events they create, like hurricanes and wildfires.

To notice that, imagine the dots are cards in the cabal’s hand. When we get too close to discovering what’s happening with the weather, the mass media will plaster something to do with Jeffery Epstein or Puff Diddy (or the hundreds of people who used their services) on the front pages.

When people lose interest in that or it’s time to steer the hurricane of public opinion somewhere else, the cabal plays their next card – say, a mass shooting. Or a new virus. Or an assassination.

I have this picture of people at the top mandating a new direction to the mass media – and away we the public go with them. Unless we turn off the TV as I did in 2008, at SaLuSa’s invitation.

***

Now I have to change direction to make a point.

I’m less and less aware of what our society is doing. Why is that? Ever since March 13, 2015, when my heart opened and a river of love that Michael later identified as seventh dimensional (3) swept me away to an Ocean of Love, I’ve had less and less interest in what the world has to offer.

I choose instead to access the love that always already flows in my heart. Compared to it, worldly pleasures don’t hold a candle.

I don’t feel it as much as during that experience but enough to keep a smile on my face every time I summon it up from my heart with my in-breath.

Consequently there isn’t a lot I want. I don’t hunger to visit Egypt or Paris. RMountains are mountains and rivers are rivers for me. I only want love.

So really, and here I may not be alone, mine is an online world because I have no desire to “see the world,” etc.

***

An online world is mostly lived at the intellectual level of life so there’s a brisk trade in ideas. (4)

Online, we live in a world of ideas, most of them diualistic: right/wrong, good/bad, beautiful/ugly, etc. A world of duality.A world that is split from the get-go, rather than united.

So here, reporting for duty and connecting the dots. But I’d rather be writing about love.

***

After the Reval, I’ll be under a Non-Disclosure Agreement for 90 days (plus 10 for good measure) and won’t be able to discuss, really, anything financial lest I cross a line unknowingly.

Good. We can discuss love, our star family, what needs doing in the world, the conditions of life after “death,” how consciousness works, etc., etc.

Just not finances, if you’d be so kind.

(2) The Lord Arcturus equates our Ascension. with Christ Consciousness:

Lord Arcturus: Now, you have come to a planet in this and in other lifetimes to assist – yes, through communication, through clarity – with the progression of the planet through the elimination of the old third, which was really quite disastrous [to] the progression up through the fifth, through the six, to the seventh so that the planetary system will reside in a level of higher consciousness, Christed consciousness as you think of it. (Lord Arcturus in a personal reading with Steve Beckow through Linda Dillon, June 12, 2019.)

Christ consciousness is seventh-dimensional consciousness. I visited that dimension, but I don’t live there.

As a term, “the planetary system” is probably intended to include the afterlife worlds associated with Earth.

(3) Steve: The space that I call transformative love, what dimension is it?

Archangel Michael: It is the Seventh Dimension. (Archangel Michael in a personal reading with Steve Beckow through Linda Dillon, Jan. 20,2016.)

(4) But the Internet has also proven well-suited for the conveying of experience. Short and long videos allow everyone to express themselves and their feelings, without needing to be logical or reasonable or structured (think Tik-Tok).

The Internet even caters to people who live or want to live at the realizational level of life.  Well, you’re reading this blog, are you not? And this blog is based on an experience of the purpose of life. See  “Chapter 13” in The Purpose of Life is Enlightenment at https://goldenageofgaia.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Purpose-of-Life-is-Enlightenment-5.pdf

That purpose IS, again, enlightenment.  When we realize who we are, which is God, at that moment of enlightenment, God meets God. And for that meeting was all of this created.

That’s the target we’re all aiming for, our destination, our reason for being.

Are All Realizations Just Deeper and Deeper Experiences of Love?

Are All Realizations Just Deeper and Deeper Experiences of Love?

By Steve Beckow

In my opinion, most of us seem to live in the intellectual domain of life. We think of life in terms of dualities: good/bad, right/wrong, beautiful/ugly, etc.

Our discussion centers, in part, around what is, say, good and what bad and then what we like and dislike about the good and the bad.  Cotton is good for you; polyester is bad (I’m making this up). I like cotton and I don’t like polyester.

I like honey mustard; I don’t like mayonnaise. I like Nice on the Riviera; I don’t like Hawaii. I like purple; I don’t like black. On and on we go … and this is life for us. We are what we like.

The experiential realm is more about flowing with life and experience, going where it takes us and opening to the future, to what’s around the next bend.

It doesn’t necessarily result in a lot of words; communication is often by the expression and reception of feeling states, what I’ve in the past called “resonance.”

What makes an experientialist tick can be lost on an intellectual and vice versa.

We might see this as a ladder of increasingly-refined consciousness. The next rung on it is the realized state.

To call it that is to view it from a 3rd/4th-dimesional perspective. If we were to view it from a higher-dimensional perspective, we might call it the ascended state.

Then we might make distinctions between temporary visits to those higher dimensions, as in, say, heart openings or Self-Realization, and permanent ascension to the 5th dimension or higher, which is still a heart opening, but this time full and permanent.

Which perspective we choose only we can testify to. We’re all on the same one journey from God to God and there need be no judgment because one is in Place A and another in Place B.

***

But I do have my druthers. I find life lived solely at the intellectual level to be similar to eating dry, uncooked oatmeal.  Life lived at the experiential level is like eating cooked oatmeal, with almond milk, cashews, raisins, and honey. Yum! Life lived at the realizational level, since it involves a love like we never imagined it to be, (1) is sublime. All thoughts of eating vanish.

Saying that, for me, is not an abstract statement. Right now I’m experiencing that love.

I wonder if I’d be accurate in saying that all realizations are simply deeper and deeper experiences of love. I’d be willing to make that as a testable hypothesis.

All realizations are simply deeper and deeper experiences of love. There. Now I need to try it on and test it out.

The Standalone Truth is Only Love

The Standalone Truth is Only Love

By Steve Beckow

Posted on July 5, 2024

Even a lioness knows what love is

After writing an earlier article, (1) I had a realization while sitting at the keyboard.

I realized that a step on the overall, endless journey is to surrender any attachment to individuality.

I said “attachment.” I still use my name and have possessions. But I have no attachment to anything impermanent.

Anicca, anicca, anicca, my meditation teacher used to say. Not this impermanent reality, not this, not this. That is not who I am or what I’m looking for.

I’m pushing my edge here, to get myself going, but not in conversation. In self-awareness.

I push that edge on whatever level of reality is available to me in the moment.

The tool I can use most effectively to check for blocking is my breath. If there is muscular tension – a holding pattern in my body – it’ll impede my breathing and thus be sensible to me.

Yes, there’s lots of holding.

When I open to realizing what the holding is about, I realize that, growing up, I was not allowed to voice disagreements, dislikes, etc. Where I funnelled my energy was into a withholding of love and a holding on to resentments.

Massive work to be done there. I’ll be using the Law of Karmic Dispensation to forgive those who have harmed me and ask forgiveness of those whom I may have harmed.  I’m not sure how else I could be free of it all in a short amount of time.

From the realization comes the real work.

I love what the Divine Mother said about our choice:

Divine Mother: We are not talking about transient interpretations of what is transpiring. It is aligning and adhering to the standalone truth – and the standalone truth, sweet one, is only love. (2)

The choice is not left or right, Democrats or Republicans, but for the experience of love or no love.

And not even loving this person or that, but loving love itself. Loving being in the experience of it, savoring it, and sharing it. Loving being love. Or not.

The choice to do that, for me, is the only true choice in my life and development. All the rest is subsidiary, dependent.

What Do We Mean by “Experience”?

What Do We Mean by “Experience”?

By Steve Beckow

Posted on May 30, 2024

Ideas

Experience

To say “to experience,” as I’m intending the word, does not (necessarily) mean “getting out in nature” or “eating new foods.”

It can. But by the same token, we can be out in nature “experiencing” and still be relating to the world from the intellectual level only.

I’m referring to there being three levels to our knowledge of Reality: the intellectual, the experiential, and the realizational. When I use the word “experience,” I’m referring to live lived from the experiential level.

For us, in the growth movement, playing the awareness game meant always being aware of how we were feeling, in addition to what we were thinking, seeing, touching, etc. The emphasis was on feeling.

Many sages could be found who advise us to feel our way to God. Sri Ramakrishna suggested bhakti or love/devotion as the best path to God in the Kali Yuga or Dark Age, as it was (1) Bhakti is a strong path in Hinduism. Love attracts us to the Truth, which we then realize.

The mind, on the one hand, can lie and deceive in the service of the ego-self.  Sociologists and philosophers call  it “the self-serving bias.”

Feelings, on the other hand, don’t speak in words; they don’t  lie. A feeling is a feeling. It has no text attached to it. It is what it is.

In my opinion, it’s how we interpret our feelings and what we do with them that gets us into trouble. If, as Jesus advised, we simply observe and experience them through to coimpletion,in my experience, no trouble results at all. (2)

***

Mind you, having said that, feelings are not the biggest prize – far from it. Just to illustrate the difference in impact, you’re lying on the beach and a child runs by with a bucket of water, splashing you a bit. You’re annoyed.

A half hour later, people are shouting that a big wave is coming in and everyone better run for safety. You gather your belongings and head for higher ground.

Let the splash of water be a feeling of love. It’s localized and of minor inconvenience. Let the tsunami of love when the heart opens be like the approaching wall of water in the face of which everyone is affected and runs for cover.

The feeling, as good as it was, was contained within you. But you’ll find yourself immersed in the higher-dimensional consciousness state, the tsunami of love, and, later, the Ocean of Love.

They’ll have different impacts. The feeling of love warms our heart, so to speak. But the tsunami of love  sweeps all our cares and concerns away. We’ll feel more alive than we ever have before. A blessing of incomprehensible proportions will have hit us. We never knew this existed!

***

We think of realizations as being momentary. A flash in the dark. A sudden seeing of that which was missed and would never have been seen without the elevating influence of bliss.

But what if the realized state endures. No, doesn’t stay permanently; that would be Ascension. But stays for perhaps eight hours and then leaves to come back another day?

That was my lot through most of 2015 after March 13, before love gave way to bliss on Sept. 28.

We don’t have a word for a prolonged state of realization which then disappears. We don’t have distinctions or a language or even a name for a lot of what we’re doing, seeing, and realizing.

Our knowledge of who we are is in its collective infancy. Many of us haven’t gotten around to acknowledging that we’re a spirit having a human experience as well as a human having a spiritual experience.  We’re both.

So when I use the word “experience,” I’m not talking of licking an ice-cream cone or running a mountain trail.  I’m talking of us being aware of and using all our senses plus the creative imagination to derive information holistically about us and our environment – to fulfil the purpose of life. (3)

Doing this has more impact on our learning than simply talking about something and trading ideas. I’ve compared the merely intellectual to eating dry oatmeal; the experiential, to warm porridge with milk, blueberries, cashews, and maple syrup.

And realization is even better.

Footnotes

(1) “The path of knowledge is very difficult. One cannot obtain Knowledge unless one gets rid of the feeling that one is the body. In the Kaliyuga the life of man is centred on food. He cannot get rid of the feeling that he is the body and the ego. Therefore the path of devotion is prescribed for this cycle. ” (Paramahansa Ramakrishna in Swami Nikhilananda, trans., The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna. New York: Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Center, 1978; c194, 170.)

(3) Which is to know who we truly are, because, when one of us realizes our true identity, God meets God. And it was for that meeting that all of us were created. The Divine Mother confirms it:

Steve: The One wants to know itself. Is that correct?… And it can’t because it’s everything. So it’s taken the aspect of Yourself and designed a universe in order for us to learn our true identities. The moment of Enlightenment is when God meets God. Is that correct?

Divine Mother: That is correct. (“Divine Mother: Know God but Through Joy,” November 4, 2018, at https://goldenageofgaia.com/2018/11/04/divine-mother-know-god-but-through-joy/.)

The Way of Awareness is Easy; or, Independence at a Deeper Level

The Way of Awareness is Easy; or, Independence at a Deeper Level

by Steve Beckow

Posted on March 14, 2024

Independence is a must!

I get to see that I’ve been taking something Michael said to me far too superficially.

This dawning awareness or realization is coming simultaneous with me claiming more of my personal authority, which I’ve been calling my “Adult” state, but which we usually call our Universal Self.  (1)

I merged with my Universal Self quite some time ago so the connection is established. (2) I see us as a Slinky, with him in the higher realms.

I believe Michael was referring to this very situation when he said:

Archangel Michael: A very large quotient, shall we say, of you is living … in the higher-dimensional realm. Then there is a part of you that is in fact in the, shall we say, the morass of the chaos in the lower (for lack of a better term) dimensional realm because that is where the work is. (3)

I always regarded that statement as cryptic. If that’s so, why am I such a bumbler? And why don’t I have more compassion, etc.?

But I’m now beginning to see more of exactly what he may have been saying.

***

What Michael said that I’ve been taking superficially is my need for independence.  He stressed the need to have “an independent voice” soon after we began our readings together:

Archangel Michael: There is need for an independent voice, a voice that not only delivers the message of your star brothers and sisters, but takes into account the climate and the evolution, the spiritual, mental and emotional evolution of the beings upon the planet and Gaia herself, and in that acts as a translator for the highest good of all. …

I will help you, obviously. (4)

Well, thank you for that reassurance, Lord!  I may need it!

On another occasion he stated:

AAM: Remember, dear heart, what we have said: you build the foundation for communication with the humans and with your star brothers and sisters; you build the ethical platform. (5)

Ok, that was helpful at getting at the need for independence.

I could give you a page of quotes in which he stresses the theme – financially, editorially, administratively, etc.  Let me give just a few so you get the flavor:

AAM: You are standalone. We are a stand-alone and it is important that this truly be adhered to. (6)

AAM: Dear heart, do not allow yourself to become the spokesbeing of any view or group – your independence is critical at this juncture (as it was during the times of Galatia) – do not waver. (7)

AAM: The blog site has need to retain its independence as an independent entity that has been in place and strongly formed and anchored prior to any establishment of the [Michaelangelo] foundation and the various, can we say, fingers or elements of that foundation.

It needs editorial independence. It needs policy independence. It needs direction independence and financial independence.

The blog site has need — and there is reason for this that will become apparent later — it has need to be an independent platform.  (8)

I get it at an intellectual level. How and when am I going to get it at a deeper, experiential level? And realize it? (9)

Moreover he’s pruned the tree of my relationships so that no conflicts of interest might arise for me when my humanitarian work begins post-Reval:

AAM: We don’t want you to feel or to be beholden – financially, emotionally or spiritually – to anybody. …

We are setting up ways in which this, can we almost say, removes you from those heartstrings so that there is wisdom and balance and an understanding of the higher good [in your decision-making]. (10)

It’s all about balance. It’s all about remaining in the middle. The middle is a portal to the higher dimensions. When we remain in the middle that portal opens. (11)

I know that now. I didn’t ten years ago.

***

Finally I got it. All of this is in aid of, and would be utterly useless without, me experiencing – and, better still, realizing – my always-already inner independence.

Of course my overall independence is affected by external circumstances. If this were WWII, my outer independence might be curtailed in important ways. I might cede it to the state for the duration of the war. But always we retain the inner power of choosing.

Michael is referring to this much deeper level and meaning of independence. The kind of thing we’re referring to when we talk about things like co-dependency or slavishness.  That which is co-dependent or slavish must now re-establish its sense of independence.

Being independent of outside influences is one part of it; being independent of “inside” influences is equally important; that includes friends and relatives more than colleagues and associates.

What I see in my own case is that, once we see what it is we’re really talking about, once we see what “independence” may mean at deeper levels, we simply drop the acts and routines we run that stand in the way of experiencing that independence. We just stop. That’s all it takes.

Our acts and numbers – our pretense and image management –  are no longer useful.  We’ve outgrown them. We no longer need them where we’re going. And we now see that.

This is another example of realization transforming the way we live life almost effortlessly, in the sense that, after realization, we just drop what has not been working so far. The way of awareness may take vigilance and effort, but in all else it’s easy.

Big Steve Writing

Big Steve Writing

by Steve Beckow

Posted on February 4, 2024

This share will slightly disturb the chronology of the next two or three articles. In the growth movement, we’d call it a “red-hot share.” I acknowledge that growth work Kathleen has been doing in trauma therapy has likely played a role in my realization, below.

I’m experiencing the most amazing gradual – and sometimes sudden – transformation over here from a person whose wounded Child has been running the show for the past 78 years to a person whose Adult is now running it.

One of the sudden transformations happened this morning. Out of the blue. (1)

I’ve been looking at what “self-control” constituted or looked like. Again preparing to be a CEO.

And in the course of it, I got more and more in touch with my Adult (Big Steve, the Commander, my Higher Self). This was the gradual side of the process.

I stopped complaining; that was a big one. You can regard that as brush clearing.

I chose happiness and actually began to cultivate it. I saw that I chose my feelings just as I chose which random thoughts to go with. On and on the process of self-awareness went.

Remember: I’m on the path of awareness and love, the latter drawing me to God and the former allowing me to recognize the Mother/Father One when I see Her.

Then, this morning, I suddenly saw myself reach a point where I was about to complain – and caught myself. It was a trivial matter. But what an impact it had.

Brace yourself now because we’re about to go at lightning speed from the intellectual level through the experiential to the realizational. (2) This is a roller-coaster ride. We call this “a realization.” Here we go.

At that moment I (in my Adult consciousness state) realized that my wounded Child was at the steering wheel. And at that same moment my wounded Child also realized that it was.

This is the second time in my life that two sides of me, “unknown” to each other at an intimate level, arose at the same time and “met” in some way. (3)

And it was OK. I (the Observer) didn’t die. My light didn’t get extinguished.

My wounded Child was reassured. It’s been protecting me (the Observer) since forever from the world of “Adults.”

AND my wounded Child asked my Adult to take the wheel.  All of this went on without words. And my Adult took the wheel.

This is sooooo significant because the Adult cannot forcibly take the wheel from the wounded Child. That would produce more wounding. So for the wounded Child at that moment to have handed the wheel over gladly and willingly was a blessing and I (the Observer of it all) knew it was as and when it happened. All this went on in my creative “imagination.”

I cannot overlook pointing out that this is another step in the process of reparenting myself. In this process, the growth movement has played a big role. (4)

So this is now Big Steve writing. No complaints. No drama. Just, as Jesus said, yes, yes, and no, no. (5)

(1) OK, OK. It undoubtedly wasn’t “out of the blue.” Some trauma therapy work Kathleen has done inspired me.

(2)  I have an enlightenment team on the other side, as do you. They have a hand in deciding what happens when. See Our Enlightenment Partnership at https://goldenageofgaia.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Our-Enlightenment-Partnership-4.pdf.

Of it the Mother said:

Steve: Now, implicit in what you are saying, Mother, is something that hasn’t been really talked about very much and that’s that the archangels or somebody else is managing our enlightenment experiences, timing, intensity.… Am I correct in that?

Divine Mother: It is a Board of Directors rather than being, “managed by.” That concept, the way that you have phrased it, dear heart, implies that you are being “managed” and that is not correct.

[Steve: It ‘d be a violation of free will.]

Now also know, and it is delightful to speak about this … the timing, the pacing (and when I say “pace,” I mean the sequential unfoldment) of an Enlightenment process is such that of course you have a guardian and usually an archangel that is working with you so that it is humanly and can we say, soul or esoterically – via your Universal Self – managed. (The Divine Mother in a personal reading with Steve Beckow through Linda Dillon, Oct. 26, 2018.)

The partnership between the embodied individual and their guides and mentors resulting in enlightenment was not explored by, if it was known to, classical enlightenment theorists.

Truth begins as intellectual knowledge, but can never manifest into expression until realized.” (“The Arcturian Group via Marilyn Raffaele. (3) The first time was in 1986, at Expo 86 in Vancouver. My then girlfriend said to me, “Do you know that you have the profile of an abused child?” And two sides of me, a public and a private, arose at the same time and said “Yes!” They “looked” at each other and said “Who are you?” I was explosive for two weeks after.

I realized I was dissociated. I later saw that my personality had been shattered at around age seven. It took eighteen more years to heal. The blessing of it all is that I can describe the process of healing from personality disintegration, of reparenting myself, of finding the source of love, etc.

On the reparenting process involved, see On the Constructed Self at https://goldenageofgaia.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/On-the-Constructed-Self-5.pdf. Search on “reparenting.”

(5) Archangel Michael and I have a prearranged signal. I just got a “blast” on the “intercom”: Yes!

Sharing and the Levels of Communication

Sharing and the Levels of Communication

by Steve Beckow

Posted on January 31, 2024

In our quest to contribute to healing the wounds of society, we’re looking at ways of communicating that might work better than what we’re doing right now.

Where it all goes, where it all leads is in the direction of the acceptance and agreement to live by the divine qualities. That’s the matter in short.

Why is that? You should be tired of hearing me say this by now: The purpose of life is to know who we truly are. When we find out who we truly are, God meets God and for the pleasure of that meeting – as if God looked in a mirror – was all of this created.

Being like God – living up to the standard of the divine qualities – brings us closer to God.

Hey, you want your money back? Guess what? Given who you truly are, this is your purpose too.

Besides, you’d be walking out on the greatest show on Earth … or anywhere else for that matter! You’ll kick yourself later!

The growth movement gave the name “sharing” to communication, of whatever type, that goes deeper than superficial observations and aims at revealing our truth and being seen, heard, etc.

Let me therefore map onto our notion of “sharing” our notion of the three levels of knowledge – or in this case of communication.

I hypothesize the existence of three levels of communication: (A) The intellectual, (B) The experiential, and (C) The realizational.

Intellectual knowledge is an exchange of ideas only, usually spare in emotional content.  The emotional context usually does not draw comment, but is tacitly accepted – enthusiasm, sadness, confidence, etc.

In terms of inner experience, intellectual communication by itself does not usually lift us to higher-dimensional realms. We may ascend to them because our “enlightenment board” on the other side (1) has decided that, overall, this is the time. But our ascension will probably not have been triggered by our intellectual practices per se.

Intellectuality is dualistic. It often gets bogged down in right/wrong, good/bad, which seem to be the highest distinctions that it can agree on.

It invites separation by its very nature: subject + verb + object.  And separation invites egocentrism, the self-serving bias, etc.

I don’t find intellectuality sustaining, personally. Not once we’ve tasted higher-dimensional love.  That new knowledge lets the air out of the balloon of beliefs and feelings that holds our love of intellectuality in place and we tend to fall silent more often.

***

Experiential knowledge is more immediate, direct and sustaining.

We feel. We’re aware of how we feel. We respond.

It may be hard to communicate, but other experientialists know what we mean and what we’re trying to communicate. And we bond and cooperate with them in a way that intellectuals usually do not. And we wonder what the intellectuals are all arguing about.

Most people in our society don’t appear to know how or what they feel. As someone once put it, we have a low emotional IQ.

Our society doesn’t seem to reward experiential knowledge as much as intellectual. We’ve become a self-serving society, publicly at least.

And, in my opinion, what serves self-servingness is talking a good game and managing our image.  As I see it, that’s where our energy seems largely to go these days.

***

Realized knowledge, such as an “Aha!” moment, is not mystical. It consists of (A) a problem and (B) bliss. Bliss lifts us up to a place of expansiveness and freedom from stress such that what we could not see earlier is easily seen now. Problems become simply situations that one must see themselves through – and does, gladly.

If we don’t have something we’re looking at, when bliss lifts us up, we tend more often to simply sit and enjoy the state.  I never get tired of bliss.

Bliss sustains and rewards us for all life’s efforts. (3) Whatever it took to get us to that place, we express our gratitude to and for.

If there’s more – and of course there is – we need no more convincing, We’re enrolled, Lead, kindly Light.

***

We get to choose where on that map of communication we want to locate ourselves. Or we may choose to shift from one to the other.

I need to communicate with you so I remain for the most part in the intellectual. But either during writing, or before or after, I can breathe bliss up again from my heart and refresh myself.

The ability to do that comes with a fourth-chakra heart opening, the most junior of enlightenment experiences.  (4) Remember all of us are angelic and thus we live outside the body beyond the dimensional enlightenment spectrum.

Since I must communicate in a way that’s easily understood, even though I’ve sampled experiences all the way to the Twelfth Dimension, (5) they’ve been toned down, truncated in most cases in that they lacked the bliss which would have lifted me to the realizational level.

Experientialists state that they aren’t understood by intellectuals. Intellectuals state that they don’t know what the experientialists are talking about. And it gets worse the higher up the ladder of consciousness we go.

People with realized knowledge are often unable to communicate their experience or knowledge to those around them. First of all there aren’t words for the experience itself; only its impact on us.

Secondly there’s nothing in the Third Dimensional world to compare higher-dimensional experiences to, except very metaphorically. To illustrate: Realization, metaphorically speaking,  is like a starburst of understanding.

OK, I’ve introduced the two notions. Let me leave the subject there and pick up later.

(5) Steve: what dimension is bliss?

Archangel Michael: It is between Eight and Nine.

Steve: And ecstasy?

AAM: Twelfth.

Steve: And what about exaltation?

AAM: Then you have moved beyond.  (Archangel Michael in a personal reading with Steve Beckow through Linda Dillon, Jan. 20, 2016.) (Hereafter, AAM.)

Archangel Michael: What you are doing, you are pulling the 5th into what you think of as your reality [3rd/4th], the qualities of mastery [11th] without setting yourself apart from the masses [3rd/4th/5th].

You … are teaching others that they can access the mastery [11th] and still be in the Christ Consciousness [7th], in the expanded awareness in the physical form [5th or cleaned-up 3rd] and in the love [7th].  (AAM, May 6, 2013.)

Lord Arcturus: It is highly beneficial – and this is where mutuality comes in – that you would have, not only the intelligence but the perspective of the higher dimensions (it is not a hierarchy but it is different).

And so the perspective say of the ninth dimension is very different than the perspective of say the third, the fifth or the seventh dimension.

Because it is very important that humanity realize, as they are in their unfoldment to a grander plan, that the seventh dimension is not the end of the road, not the be all and end all.

And so, [you having] some of the perspective, the experience, the knowing, the intelligence of different dimensionality is highly beneficial in helping them move into that higher-dimensional anchoring. (Lord Arcturus in a personal reading with Steve Beckow through Linda Dillon, June 12, 2019.)
