Q: Inside me is a kind of restlessness, how do I come out of a dark place in my life, where there is little joy and much sadness?
P’taah: All right, so we would suggest that what would be of assistance is becoming more focused on Now, becoming more immersed in Now as you go about your day to days. Or to be immersed in whatever it is that takes your interest.
So the restlessness comes from not feeling complete in what you are doing, and the reason for that is that you are not immersed with your whole being-ness in what you are doing in your day to days.
And one of the ways we have suggested to you all is by being in your thank-yous as you go about your day, because when you are in your thank-yous you are being very conscious and very aware Now.
So you may perhaps focus yourself, as you go about your day to day life, in really being conscious of what you are doing and how you are being Now, within your activities. So that you are not, in a way, almost trying to project into the next now without being fully engaged in this now.
For instance, being aware of nature, whatever nature there is that surrounds you. For some peoples living in a big city it can be to walk in the park so that you can be in nature. Or, indeed, if you have some plants around your house, to become focused on tending the plants. Tending anything really, but nature is such a healer, and it is there to support you.
And to be in that focus, even if it is a sunrise or a sunset, to really see how it is that nature does support you, in the most astounding way, in its beauty, in its magnificence, in its complexity. It is there to support and to nurture you. So it is very healing for you to be aware, to be Now, to be in thank-yous and gratitudes.
Also to be in the thanks and gratitude for your physicality, for your body, because truly, when you think about what your physical body really is, it is a miracle! An astounding miracle of complexity, everything working in its integrity to be whole, to be in existence. Every cell, every organ, everything in total communication.
So in other words, one of the ways to come out of the depression is really to look at who and what you are, and who and what surrounds you, and become focused upon this in your thank-yous.
To be now, eh? To be Now!
