Be Your Own Authority

Be Your Own Authority

by Owen Waters

Posted on December 10, 2023

In the 1960s, parents and teachers complained that the younger generation had less respect for authority than they did when they were that age. In the 1980s, parents and teachers complained that the younger generation had less respect for authority than they did when they were that age. In the 2000s, well, you get the picture. Every generation has progressed more in the same direction because the cosmic energies of The Shift are dissolving the old habit of submission to authority.

Traditionally, organizations were run on hierarchies of authority. In order to work within a hierarchy, you were expected to surrender your willingness to think for yourself and, instead, obey orders without question. Human creativity was suppressed while such a structure encouraged people to be closed-minded when exposed to any new information or ideas.

People with open minds, on the other hand, can think for themselves and therefore become their own authorities. Being open to new ideas, they can awaken to creative, new solutions to challenges in their work and in their lives.

Once the human mind is free to think for itself, these new ideas and solutions can be gained from the three main stages of focused conscious awareness. These are:

1) Concentration. This is used to make a study and rational analysis of all available material.

2) Reflection. This is the process of digesting information, sleeping on it, and thinking it over on more than one occasion. It opens up the problem to more levels of consciousness than just the daily, waking consciousness. Each time the situation is examined, a more insightful overview is obtained, leading to deeper and longer-lasting solutions.

3) Meditation. In this state of alert awareness, the full power of your intuitive insight can be accessed. In this state, your intuition senses the whole reality of the situation and delivers information which would be unobtainable by any other means. The deeper the meditative state, the clearer it becomes as to what the best solution can be.

Like all skills, meditation requires regular practice in order to become truly effective. A sudden crisis in life can upset a beginner's attempts to find a deep level of awareness. An experienced meditator, however, will have gained the experience to be able to bypass the emotional turbulence and still reach the desired, deep levels of insight in order to find the most elegant solution.

It is very simple to become an experienced meditator. Make meditation your number one priority, each and every day. The powerful Infinite Being Meditation technique is one of many techniques you can use.

As we pass through The Shift into the New Reality, especially now that mass awakening has begun, we are learning to apply self-empowerment to all facets of life. Self-education and reflection mean that you can rely upon your own perceptions about what is best for you.

The medical establishment used to be the authority on what was best for your health. Most aware people have already replaced that with self-education in nutrition and "alternative", or natural, health care.

Religious authorities are becoming increasingly ignored in favor of spiritual self-education. Political authorities are in such a crisis of mistrust that it will take total reform, including a revival of standards and ethics, to salvage the value of political representation.

When it comes to matters of authority, remember: It is better to be your own authority than to follow the crowd, wherever that crowd is being led by the propaganda of the day.

Within you is all the insight you ever need to reach wise decisions about every challenge that you ever face. No one on the planet knows more than you about your needs, your situation and your potential to find joy in all of the aspects of your life.

Basically, it all comes down to these four words:

Be your own authority.

P.S. Due to popular demand, our e-books sale has now been extended through year-end.

Casting Down a Lack of Self-Confidence

Casting Down a Lack of Self-Confidence

by Steve Beckow

Posted on July 29, 2023

Yes!

Things are moving through me at such a rate that I may have to resort to posting notes if I’m to journal my own Ascension, as I agreed with Michael and the Mother to do.  (1)

Only if I write these things down will I remember them.

Never mind what I ate for breakfast. Right now I can’t remember if I had breakfast. I’m forced to live in the moment.

In this last moment, I just cast down a lack of self-confidence. In the middle of being outraged at feeling that way this late in the game, I invoked the Law of Elimination and the Divine Mother and cast a lack of self-confidence away from me with a resounding “Yes!” – and a thank you to my guides.

I don’t for a minute overlook the role of the Company of Heaven likely plays in such a move. I have every faith that they took me at my word and removed it.

Michael was quite candid about anchoring in a different clearing experience I had, demonstrating right there the role the celestials and the Mother play in our spiritual experiences:

Steve: The experience I had last night where I went back to age six before all the fighting started in my family [and drove a stake into the ground, pushing away all the bad stuff since then], is that going to produce a permanent effect or is it going to just pass again like so many other things?

Archangel Michael: No, it is not simply going to pass. It has been a true and deep transformation, release, but also what has been happening is that you have made the decision, and that is part of what has triggered all this, to anchor that release. So sometimes there are events or releases that are not fully embraced, can we say? Therefore they are not anchored in the permanency of your field.

But you have chosen, and we have anchored the permanency of this situation to be gone. (2)

“We have anchored the permanency of this situation” – where in any enlightenment text will you read that the celestials – in this case, the archangels – participate in everything to do with our spiritual experiences? And yet this generation (us) is getting this information.

Getting back to the experience itself, I put nothing in place of the space I created by letting go of the tale of family woe. For me, this isn’t about filling up the space. It’s about emptying it. It’s about creating it.

I am space, after all. Intelligent, loving space.

***

I notice that other things went with it. I think all my life I’ve had a certain belligerence, which is most noticeable in the range of my voice. I lived down among the growls.

My voice has been freed up now. Of course its remaining freed up depends on me not resuming being (a leftover from dissociation) un-self-confident. (3)

My voice is still in the same range because I probably always will be a serious person (non-fiction, don’t waste time, married to his work, etc.) but there’s no hook in it now. It’s just who I am, not who I’m pretending to be.

I also notice that other things go with self-confidence. I’ve noticed how many situations lately can be solved by my being humble. If I feel self-confident, I don’t need constant affirmation. I can yield, give way.

A friend just about caused a fire. In the right/wrong world, I was perfectly justified to scold and prance up and down as a person who would never make that kind of mistake (at least, not recently).

Instead I found myself able to remain quiet and calm, clean up the mess, and later replace what was destroyed.  How many years have I spent in the other world of charge and counter-charge, attack-and-defend? How grateful am I even to feel as if I’m on more dry land now.

Footnotes

(1) I agreed to ascend with everyone else and, as Everyman, write about it:

Archangel Michael: There is much to be said for Everyman, and that is part of the role you play. Yes, you are a pillar. You are an anchor. You’re [a monitor] but you’re also playing the role of Everyman – with curiosity, with exploration, with insight. So our desire is not to separate you from the collective. (Archangel Michael in a personal reading with Steve Beckow through Linda Dillon, Nov. 11, 2015.) (Hereafter AAM.)

We’re all angels. What Michael says about me could also potentially be said about anyone else. See An Explosion in the Meaning of Humanness at https://goldenageofgaia.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/An-Explosion-in-the-Meaning-of-Humanness-12.pdf

(3) I dissociated at age 7 when my Dad yelled at me from inches in front of my face. I shattered into a thousand pieces; hence the Humpty Dumpty Man, as I thought of myself later in life.

This casting down of a lack of self-confidence is another stage in the Humpty Dumpty Man’s recovery from dissociation.

I Reap the Harvest

I Reap the Harvest

by Steve Beckow

I’m more and more realizing the idiocy of claiming to be an “expert.”

I’m left musing after reading Marilyn’s thought-provoking history of the Council of Nicea.

The only historical connection I have – even to the Christian Church broadly at that time, save a lifelong fascination with the desert fathers – is with St. Nonnus of Panopolis, (1) whom I came to admire.

St. Nonnus was an embodied archangel, Michael told me.  (2) His best-known act was his relationship with Pelagia, an actress and prostitute, renowned in Antioch. (3)

She had such a powerful experience listening to his sermon that she sold all her jewels and gold, gave the money away, and joined a nunnery, it was thought.

After her death, a brother sent to her discovered her locked in a brothers’ cell in Jerusalem, where she was known as Brother Pelagius. She’d lived on scraps, the most pious of the pious. No one knew Brother Pelagius was a woman. (4)

Wow, did that story have an effect on me at the time.

That’s it. That’s my knowledge of the times and the Christian Church back then. Having that scrap of knowledge, does that make me an expert?

Only if I spin it.

***

And that raises the second point. How many experts are indeed simply masterful at spinning it? We saw how many professional medical people were willing to swallow the Kool-Aid and go along with the Covid narrative even though they knew their actions were wrong. The persecutors claimed to be experts.

Going along with the narrative included attributing even deaths by murder to Covid, giving politicians the placebo and the rest of us the toxic vaccine, forcing people to take the vaccine, de-credentialing professionals who opposed it, etc.

How many of these people posed as experts on Covid, when what they were espousing was killing people?

I’m so tired of our tendency to make and worship “experts.”

***

I think that’s why I prefer awareness writing so much. I can really only tell you my story – what I see, hear, think, feel. It’s probably self-servingly packaged (reader beware), dressed up to look nice, told and retold perhaps. Hopefully not.

But, with that tool, I can burrow down, below that layer, below the vasanas (core issues), until we get to places in our field of awareness where things really happen – realizations, experiences, insights.

I’m an expert in me. That’s all I’m an expert in and, even there, if I don’t watch myself, I can kid myself, choose to remain ignorant, make things up. The human mind is capable … of anything… as we’re seeing all around us in these end times – the end of darkness.

Michael says he knows me better. Undoubtedly he does. But I’m the final arbiter, the final judge.  I plow the row. I plant the seeds. I reap the harvest.

Footnotes

(1) Wikipedia says: “[Nonnus of Panopolis] is sometimes conflated with St Nonnus from the hagiographies of St Pelagia and with Nonnus, the bishop of Edessa who attended the Council of Chalcedon, both of whom seem to have been roughly contemporary, but these associations are probably mistaken.” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nonnus.)

But Michael says Nonnus of Panopolis and St. Nonnus were the same being:

Steve: Did [St.] Nonnus write the Dionysiac? Is he also the Nonnus that wrote the [Paraphrase of the] Epistle of St. John?

AAM: That is correct. (AAM, March 13, 2015.)

(2) Steve: I’m trying to figure out why I love Nonnus [of Panopolis] so much. Whenever I come across his name I get a surge of love. Can you tell me?

Archangel Michael: Because you cherish this energy which is known in many ways and in many forms.

S: So it’s not necessarily Nonnus…

AAM: No, it is the energy that has been known as Nonnus’s, but is known in many ways.

S: Can you tell me of the other ways that it is known?

AAM: Archangelic, dear heart.

S: Nonnus was archangelic?

AAM: Yes.

S: Oh, gosh, isn’t that wonderful! (AAM, March 13, 2015.)

(3) It was common for actors and actresses to sleep with members of the audience, for the right price.

(4) Here is Oxford’s version:

“Pelagia, actress of Antioch, penitent at Jerusalem. Her Legend has been immensely popular in East and West. It was written by someone well versed in the writings of the Desert Fathers, who purported to be James the deacon of bishop Nonnus. According to this fictional account, Pelagia was a beautiful but dissolute actress of Antioch, at the height of her renown, with many lovers, jewels, and servants.

“When some bishops were seated at the tomb of St Julian, listening to a sermon from Nonnus, she passed by, provocatively dressed, surrounded by her ‘fans.’ All the bishops turned away shocked, except Nonnus, who was moved to tears by her zeal and success in her profession (regarded as Satan’s) compared with the tepidity and slowness of his own and others’ progress in holiness.

“After a dream-troubled night Nonnos preached in the cathedral of Antioch and Pelagia walked in again, was converted on the spot, and asked for baptism. A deaconess Romana was deputed to be her sponsor and Pelagia was duly instructed and baptized.

“Soon afterwards she gave away all her ill-gotten gains, left her life of comfort and luxury, and went to live as a hermit, dressed as a man, on the Mount of Olives ( Jerusalem). There the deacon James visited the beardless recluse ‘Pelagius’; only after her death. Not long afterwards were her identity and her sex discovered.”

Aquarian Era Revealed

Aquarian Era Revealed

By Meg  Benedicte

Posted on March 1, 2023

Have you felt the new year building in momentum? It feels like riding a ripcurl wave…you can’t see much but trust the power propelling you forward.

We are experiencing extraordinary geomagnetic fluctuations, galactic energies and spectacular Aurora Borealis light shows. Let’s ride this wave into the Aquarian Era. The most influential 2023 astrological events arrive in March. Get ready for a significant shift in energy, focus and perspective as Saturn, Pluto and Mars change signs in the month of March.

Leading the pack on March 7, Saturn moves into Pisces, the sign of fluid emotions, changeable flow, sensitivity and spiritual nature, connection and compassion. Saturn has been influencing Aquarian themes for two years, since March 2020. Saturn the Taskmaster represents discipline, authority, boundaries, rules and regulations in watery empathic Pisces. Saturn in Pisces may be an odd fit. Perhaps we will see more grounded spirituality replacing out-of-body escapism. Saturn in Pisces provides the container for Spiritual essence, the sacred vessel for embodiment. Spirituality becomes an in-body experience. Saturn in Pisces enhances a more practical daily spiritual practice.

On March 23 Pluto enters Aquarius, igniting more of the powerful Aquarian Era for all life on the planet. Pluto will stay in Aquarius until June 11, then retrograde back to Capricorn, then forward into Aquarius, back and forth until November 19, 2024; where it will remain until 2043. Pluto is currently in the final degrees of dismantling Capricorn institutions of patriarchy, hierarchy, authoritarian governments, religious cults, and rigid societal structures. As Pluto recycles over the final degrees of Capricorn in the coming months, the impact will ripple through fixed archaic systems that deprive most of the world universal abundance, peace and harmony.

We are witnessing a global shift from old, outdated Capricorn systems as Pluto moves into Aquarius on March 23, heralding the new era. Pluto inspires deep soul-searching, shadow work and alchemical transformation. While in Aquarius, Pluto will develop a new power system in the humanitarian sign of community, collective, hive mind. During Pluto’s transit we will see a new society emerge. Under Pluto’s refiner’s fire influence, outdated social conditioning, past trends, superficiality and collective illusions will falter, morph and dissolve.

The Aries Equinox arrives on March 20, setting the stage for a new astrological cycle, a new season and zero-point alchemy. The Equinox occurs at 0 degrees Aries, when day and night are equal length. Often referred to as the ‘Great Turning of the Wheel’, it is the cosmic pause between past and future. The Equinox provides the gateway into a fresh new start. When you ascend into a higher threshold resonance, your world reality expands into more complex consciousness. Let’s ride that wave into becoming Divine Humans!
