Always Listening

Always Listening

The Creator Writings

By Jennifer Farley

Post on December 20, 2025

My dearest one, today you are invited to take a deep look into yourself. This time of year is a symbol of rebirth and growth.

It is also an opportunity for you to stop dodging the heavy, challenging, gut-wrenching stuff.

If you choose to procrastinate, it will eventually come back and surprise you in unexpected ways. Then where will you be?

As the energy for the next step of the shift begins to increase, it is time to listen and truly understand what you need for your own personal growth.

Remember, you are not voiceless… The Universe is always listening and ready to assist whenever you are ready to release!

Inner Reconciliation

Inner Reconciliation

Daily Inspiration

By Kate Spreckley

December 15, 2025

December is a powerful and sacred time of closure that wraps up an intense period of personal growth and transformation. This week in particular we are being prepared for the energetic shift that will come with the final New Moon of 2025 on the 20th, and the Solstice on the 21st. The incoming energies will illuminate what is culminating and the cycles in our lives that are closing out. We can expect our emotional sensitivity to be heightened as old wounds and feelings emerge for deeper healing and release.

The energies at the start of the week are helping to ground you into the present moment while urging you to recognize that a chapter in your life is coming to an end. There is an inner reconciliation occurring with everything you have been and everything you won’t be carrying forward. Allow yourself to recognize the wounds playing out in your life and what is coming up for healing and release. Pay attention to what you are feeling while staying grounded and present in the midst of the incoming swells of energy.

Much love

Kate

This is an Important Message for All Lightworkers

This is an Important Message for All Lightworkers

The Galactic Federation

By Chellea Wilder

Posted on April 29, 2025

Blessings, to our dear Earth Family. We thank you for connecting with us.

This is an Important Message for all Lightworkers,

Many of you have undoubtedly noticed a significant trend, one might say, regarding the ways in which your Star Families communicate with you. This communication is imbued with profound purpose and intention. Each Star Family provides you with unique insights designed to encourage you to think critically and independently for yourselves. This process of engagement is essential, as it fosters a deeper connection with your own inner wisdom and encourages personal growth.

A message that is intended to uplift you and enhance your own understanding must inherently allow you the freedom to arrive at your own conclusions about what is manifesting in your reality. It is crucial to recognize that for any group of entities, or indeed for any individual, to assert that their way is the only path to truth, or to try and discredit or put down others Light work is a form of deception.

Such claims can lead to disillusionment and confusion, causing many to alter their path, by following someone else’s Ideas and opinions.

Those who feel threatened by the light work of others often find themselves not in a place of unity, but rather in a space of separation, distancing themselves from the collective consciousness that thrives on collaboration and mutual support. When we encourage you to maintain your own personal discernment, we are emphasizing the importance of individual realization and understanding. Each person must embark on their own journey to discover their truth, which is especially vital in a world where an overwhelming amount of information and diverse energies are constantly bombarding you from all directions.

In these precious moments of your ascension, it becomes increasingly important to align with your own inner Knowing. This inner guidance is a powerful compass that can lead you through the complexities of your spiritual journey. Remember, no one else is leading you on this path; only the Divine Light that resides within you can guide you Home. You are the ones taking each step of your own personal free will, making choices that resonate with your heart and soul. While we, as your Star Families, wish to provide you with insights and understanding, our ultimate purpose is to Serve the Light. In fulfilling this purpose, we shine our Light so that you can more easily find the path that aligns with your true purpose and deepest desires. This journey is uniquely yours, and it is essential to embrace the process of inner-discovery and empowerment that comes with it.

It is essential to cultivate the practice of celebrating others and uplifting them in the radiant Light that they embody. This act of recognition is a profound appreciation for the unique gifts and talents that each individual brings to the world. When you encounter someone who is generously sharing their Light with others–whether through acts of kindness, creative expression, or simply by being a source of positivity and inspiration–take a moment to praise them sincerely. Your words of encouragement can serve as a powerful reminder that they are not only contributing to the well-being of those around them, but also manifesting the spirit of the Divine in their human expression.

By actively engaging in this celebration, you create an environment where love, support, and gratitude flourish. It fosters a community rooted in compassion and mutual respect, allowing everyone to thrive. Recognizing the Light in others helps to illuminate the paths of those who may be struggling, encouraging them to continue shining brightly. Remember, every time you uplift someone, you are participating in a larger tapestry of connection and unity, where each thread represents a unique individual contributing to the collective human experience. In this way, celebrating others becomes a transformative practice, not only for them but also for you. It enriches your own spirit, deepens your relationships, and reinforces the understanding that you are all interconnected beings sharing this journey together.

So, let your praises be a beacon of hope and a testament to the beauty of the human spirit, inspiring others to embrace their own Light and share it freely with the world around them.

We love you, and celebrate your Light within.

We are The Galactic Federation.

Change, change, change and more change is on the way. This is not something to fear or dislike… all change is a learning experience. The Universe is inviting you to slow down, take your time and look around a bit as you move forward.

Is there something you really like or admire, bring it with you. Is there something you used to like but cannot remember why you are carrying it? It is okay to leave it behind. Everything from this point is about personal growth.

Remember, you know exactly what you need to be happy!

Human Growth and Spirituality

Human Growth and Spirituality

By Steve Beckow

Posted on January 7, 2025

The spirit is like a babushka doll; it has a different body on every level

I said some years ago that I needed to make some distinctions to help underpin a rebirth of personal development.

Here I’d like to distinguish between two classic avenues of unfoldment of our human potential: human growth and spirituality.

The first is body-centered as well as intellectual and manifested most clearly, in the West, in the human growth or human potential movement of the 1960-70s.

It sought to raise our sights from the merely intellectual or the intellctual alone to (the intellectual plus) the emotional/experiential. Remember my ladder of the dimensions of knowledge: intellectual, experiential, and realizational.

From the experiential, we were deemed to be well-positioned for realization. We were standing at the bus stop, so to speak. The rest was deemed to be up to God.

Bernadette Roberts: At a certain point, when we have done all we can (to bring about an abiding union with the divine), the divine steps in and takes over. (1)

Sri Ramana Maharshi: Your efforts can extend only thus far. Then the Beyond will take care of itself. You are helpless there. No effort can reach it. (2)

Cold Mountain Institute, whose three-month resident fellowship I attended in 1975-76, specialized in deepening our experiential knowledge by showing us how to release bodily and intellectual blocks.

They said they didn’t work with sick people getting well – per se. They weren’t (all) doctors and nutritionists. They worked with well people getting better.

They didn’t emphasize spiritual inquiry or practices as such. They might in passing and they might include a meditation or a “psychic” workshop in their residential retreats. But what they contributed to the pool of human knowledge by and large was the art of grounding us in our bodies and releasing our muscular and intellectual blocks.

***

The next stage after the experiential is the realizational.

The spiritual or realizational picks up where human growth leaves off.  It focuses on that which is in and operates the body – the unseen spirit.

It takes those “better” people, who still hunger for even more, and introduces them to the “even more.”

Courses might be offered in spiritual centers or a live-in option may be available at an ashram.

An ashram would specialize in deepening our consciousness state, through instruction in such spiritual pursuits as meditation or yoga.

***

“The spirit” turns out to be a Babushka doll: each dimension – and beyond – has a “body.”  Having gotten to know our own physical bodies in the human-growth work, we now get to know our other “bodies.” (3)

When it’s time, the spiritual calling happens in many ways. When I meditated on an Indian guru, whom I was later to visit, I experienced shaktipat, which I’m told translates as the bestowal of grace upon a follower.  His face came speeding out of the distance and hit my third eye.

I left the bedroom, dazed, and went into the kitchen and said to my then girlfriend, “Wow, you should see what just happened to me.” And she replied, “I can see. Go look in the mirror.” And, when I looked, my hair was standing on end.

It can start with a book falling off the shelf, a stray mention of a website, a sudden opening or vision. When your guides, archangel, and the Mother want to wake you up, they will. Well, they already have because you’re here and this is both a growth and a spiritual site. And we don’t advertise. We let Michael and the Mother bring whom they will.

And what about spiritual teachings on enlightenment? Ssocial media has changed the spiritual landscape. We don’t have to travel to India or Japan any more.  And they don’t have to travel to us.  And, besides, with the Ring of Fire or Wave of Love, everyone’s heart will be opened – for a while. What life will be like then I can hardly imagine. Imagine the whole world in deep, deep love.

I’m deeply grateful to my guides who arranged to have me do intensive human-growth work first and then introduced me to the spiritual.  I’d been reading spiritual books before this time but these days saw my first intentional actions, which were taken in growth.

I hope to see a return of the human growth movement after G/NESARA. Without it, spiritual work can sometimes, in the beginning phases at least, feel superficial.

If I skipped working with my body, I’d feel a lack of depth. I’d remain at the surface. But all that’s another article! And I’ve taxed your patience long enough!

(3) You could say we have no body above the Tenth or in the Transcendental. That’s also a way of seeing things that works. It ends up in the same place.

When I was in the Ocean of Love (seventh-dimensional), I was aware of myself as a point of awareness. This point of awareness that I was was differentiated from the Ocean of Love – which “I” was “in.”

That individuated point of awareness I still consider and refer to as a “body.”  On the Ocean of Love, search on that term in An Ascension Ethnography – Part 1 at https://goldenageofgaia.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/An-Ascension-Ethnography-V1-R2.pdf  Michael has verified that the tsunami of love I was in after the fourth-chakra heart opening on March 13, 1987 opened into the seventh dimension. I assume that the Ocean of Love that I ended up in at the end of that particular experience was at least seventh-dimensional. (There were no road signs.) Michael says;

Steve: The space that I call transformative love, what dimension is it?

Archangel Michael: It is the seventh dimension.

Steve: Then what dimension is bliss?

AAM: It is between eight and nine.

Steve: And ecstasy?

AAM: Twelfth.

Steve: And what about exaltation?

AAM: Then you have moved beyond. (Archangel Michael in a personal reading with Steve Beckow through Linda Dillon, Jan. 20, 2016.)

You have Entered a Deep Metamorphosis

You have Entered a Deep Metamorphosis

Archangel Michael

Blessings Beloved Ones,

As always, it is wonderful to speak with you, thank you for this Transmission.

Within your fast-paced and chaotic existence, life can often feel overwhelming. External pressures pull you in many directions, making it hard to focus on your own needs. As stress and anxiety mount, finding a way to step back and reconnect with your inner-selves becomes essential. During these moments of your ascension, you have entered a deep metamorphosis. Everything within you is transforming.

Now is the time, of the ascension phase of your rebirth.

Imagine creating a comforting cocoon to safely shield you during this time of change. This space can help you achieve healing, growth, and renewal. The cocoon represents transformation, a sanctuary where you can explore your inner truth and allow yourself to relax and rebuild. Just as the caterpillar enters its cocoon, it is then transformed into a beautiful Butterfly.

In this sacred space, you are not just healing, you are changing. Dedicate this time to activities that nourish your entire being. Whether it’s journaling, trying out painting, or practicing yoga, each activity can create an environment for personal growth.

Allow yourself ample time to heal. It’s critical to remember, that while nature takes its time to evolve, you too need to be patient with yourselves.

During this phase, focus on restoring your energy. Integrate soothing practices into your routine. By emphasizing the intention of healing, you create room for renewal both inside and out.

Once you have your inner cocoon, it’s time to reflect. Stepping back from daily demands offers clarity to what is ahead for you.

Exploration through reflection can act as a catalyst for significant change. By reassessing your habits, relationships, and objectives, you pivot toward a more enlightened path.

With your reflections in hand, it’s time to adjust your actions. Make conscious decisions that align with your true self. This is a time of letting go and releasing what does not serve your highest good.

Setting clear intentions around your actions can mark the beginning of transformative change.

As you redirect your actions, remember to surrender to the natural flow of life. Change often brings fear of the unknown, but embracing it can lead to unexpected opportunities.

Surrendering means trusting that everything happens for a reason. Instead of resisting change, allow yourself to be guided by it. Adapt and relax into the natural rhythm of life, trusting you are exactly where you should be, and are being guided by the Divine Light within you.

In your modern, fast-paced life, taking time to slow down can feel counterproductive. Yet, this is essential for true inner-nurturing. Engage in activities that bring you joy.

Granting yourself the space to recharge can be incredibly restorative. Remember, you cannot pour from an empty cup. Ensure you take time to rejuvenate and reconnect with your Inner Light.

Nurturing your inner Light with Love and compassion, creates the space for the universe to work in your favor. Change is part of life, but it is intensified through the ascension process. As you transform within your cocoon, the outside world shifts and changes alongside you. Trust that the universe is aligning everything for your growth.

This moment is rich with potential, as the Divine Light rearranges your external circumstances to reflect your inner journey. Your actions and intentions can magnetize new possibilities, cultivating an environment for transformation.

Remember to stay aware of the subtle signs around you that may indicate your next steps. These signals are gentle reminders from your many Guides and Angels.

Embracing this transformation starts with letting go of chaotic energies and finding your healing space, your personal Cocoon. By focusing on healing, renewal, and inner-reflection, you prepare for the journey of change.

As you reassess, adjust your actions, and surrender to life’s flow, understand that you are not alone.

Now is your moment to embrace the transformation ahead. Trust in your ability to navigate this shifting journey. The power to change your life lies within you. Appreciate the journey and savor the adventures waiting just around the corner. Soon your wings will spread, taking flight, into the higher realms of Light.

Embark on this journey with an open heart. Each moment is an opportunity for transformation, leading you toward alignment with the Oneness of God.

I Love you, and I am Always with you.

Emerging from Emerging

Emerging from Emerging

By Steve Beckow

Posted on October 29, 2024
Part 1/2

In the course of writing this article about emergence, I myself emerged.
Emergence is an ongoing process and one I regard as best adapted to lightworkers’ needs.

The books I wrote on emergence (1) came largely out of the work I did in the growth movement. (2)

The mainstream media did character assassinations back in the late Seventies as much as they do now. We just weren’t aware of the full picture, as we are becoming aware now.

They typified Werner Erhard and the est Training in the same way the MSM attacks people of heart and President Trump. Werner was one of the Twentieth Century’s human-growth geniuses, in my view.

If someone comes up with a great way to emerge from our woes, the MSM will annihilate it.  This is not a new plan.

We may not like the turmoil we’re  going through, but I think it speeds up growth.

It presents so many important choices. On a normal day, when peace reigns, we’ll have ordinary choices, but not choices that affect the heart of our character.

After Helene and Milton, while there was a tussle going on between the monk and the warrior, the warrior unto himself is becoming firmly set.

[I have not fully emerged yet, but the process has started.]

I know this may offend some folks. They’re not on this site to hear about war. (3)

Neither am I, by the way, but it’s here. Mass murder by hurricanes was not in my thoughts.

That I may disappoint you I just have to deal with because the fuller form that I’m emerging into is more me than what I now see as the suppressed other side of myself.

[I am slowly emerging.]

In fact, if you’ll allow me the privilege of introspection when the world is under seige, looking back, I see the whole of my life until this point as being about emerging from the suppression of my character in early childhood.

Not like that was special to me; the whole neighborhood followed the same drill-sergeant child-rearing patterns. It was the universal way of parenting in that post-war generation.

But I’m feeling a strength and solidity in my belly and chest that is both foreign and familiar to me. Foreign because I usually suppress myself before reaching this place. Familiar because the effect of emergence is that I feel more me than I did.

(Concluded in Part 2, below.)

Footnotes

(1)  See:

What these books were about is what’s happening for me right now”: Emergence. It doesn’t only happen once. It’s a progressive process – more and more and more. The whole of the growth movement could be said to have been about emergence.

(2) The three main elements of which were (A) a three-month residential encounter group at Cold Mountain Institute, (B) the est Training and its affiliated programs, and (C) enlightenment intensives.

(3) In my lifetime, I’ve always served in the role of protector. In Toronto, in 1970, I was stabbed in the back protecting an old man who was being robbed.

This kamikaze behavior can again be seen as resulting from an early vasana (core issue) born of domestic violence.  Having promised to protect my Mother in the future some day (I was seven) when she was struck by my Dad, I was now protecting as a consistent response.

You might say it’s my dharma (felt duty) to be a protector.  As testimony to that, this blog was born as a cabal-fighting blog.  Having just come out from presiding over a hearing room on discrimination and persecution (the refugee determination process), I could not stand what the cabal was doing.

On that, see “How It All Began!” July 2, 2024, at https://goldenageofgaia.com/2024/07/02/how-it-all-began/

Now of course, as Suzi says, we prefer peace.  At least I do, unless and until we’re hit by two manmade, weather-warfare hurricanes.  Then I stand up and take notice. We need both.

Why Prayers Can Fail To Work

Why Prayers Can Fail To Work

by Owen Waters

Posted on April 28, 2024

The world is full of reasons why people might pray for help from a higher source. From the threat of war to an exploding health crisis to the pressures of a cratering economy, you’ve got to wonder why the Creator allows all this. After all, a challenge will always bring personal growth but the accelerating rate of change in everything today is like a cosmic wake-up call. But, we might ask, to wake up to what?

The truth is, we are sparks of the Divine, empowered with free will so that we can forge a path back to divine consciousness through the Three C’s – the attributes we have inherited from our divine origins – Curiosity, Creativity, and Constructive action. With these, we should be able to handle anything but, all the same, a little help from above would be more than welcome in these crazy days of rapid change.

Tradition has it that you pray to God for favors and sometimes offer something in exchange, like, for example, a promise to turn to God more regularly. However, in these days of cosmology, it is increasingly difficult to imagine that the Creator of billions of galaxies, each with billions of suns, would micro-manage problems on one tiny planet. So, perhaps, seeking attention from a more people-focused aspect of the divine hierarchy makes a whole lot more sense.

All levels of existence in the universe exist within the consciousness of the Creator. Within that envelope of consciousness in which the universe lives, the highest realm of consciousness is ninth density, which is home to the soul essences of galaxies. Each galaxy is responsible for Creator functions within its field of consciousness. Likewise, each sun is responsible for the creation of its planets and each planet develops and maintains the systems of life within its realm. These days, not too many people pray to the Sun or Mother Earth, but you can gain enormous spiritual growth by sending regular thoughts of gratitude to these cosmic beings. The inspirational energy feedback from such elevated beings is phenomenal.

The next level down the divine hierarchy of consciousness is the sixth-density realm of archangels and angels. This is where one of the most called-upon higher beings is based, and for good reason. Jesus operates as an all-pervasive spirit with global reach within all the realms of existence upon earth. When someone reaches out to Jesus for help, his presence as a global spirit detects that call and focuses attention on that person, ready to deliver comfort, hope, inspiration, and healing.

Besides calling on world avatars for help, there are several other options, perhaps closer to our third-density physical home in terms of frequency. Everyone has spirit guides and also angels who watch over them. Everyone also has their soul or higher self, which is based in fifth density, ready to dispense wisdom that is perfectly tailored to your unique situation. You don’t actually pray to your soul or higher self because you are part of its field of consciousness, but you can get in touch with your inner being first thing every day with a quiet meditation and thereby benefit from personalized guidance any time you need it.

Whether you feel most comfortable developing an inner connection to your soul or asking for help from a higher source, it is important to be aware of the power you already possess as a creation of the divine.

Imagination is your creative faculty. Be bold. Imagine a better life and never accept ideas that conspire to block your way.

Notice how your divine attributes of Curiosity, Creativity, and Constructive action include the word ‘action.’ This is the big reason why prayers can fail to work. If a person asks for their life to change, action will be required in some form by them and possibly other people. Action makes manifest, even if it is as subtle an act as a conscious shift in a belief that previously held you back. Guidance will come into your mind repeatedly, knocking at the door asking to be recognized and acted upon.

Lack of action after asking for help and guidance is the main reason prayer can fail to work, and it’s the same with the Law of Attraction, which is sometimes portrayed as a big magnet that energizes the universe toward your desired goal. Yes, it does do that but the Law of Attraction is like the magnet inside an electric generator waiting to be turned so that electricity can start to flow. If you don’t crank the handle and add motion to the situation, no energy flows and no results appear.

My recent e-book, Soul Inspiration: Unleash the Power of Your Higher Consciousness to Dissolve Problems and Create a Better Life, goes deeper into the subject, revealing ways to increase the clarity of the guidance you can receive and also determine which direction your action should take at any time to make your wishes come true.

No Need to Wither Away

No Need to Wither Away

by Steve Beckow

Posted on March 9, 2024

I’ve just had a conversation with someone whose son is having emotional difficulties. I don’t want to go into details because (A) I don’t want to identify the person and (B) I don’t want to create an impression that I somehow have credentials to be dispensing advice.

We all contribute what we have. Mine is philosophical speculation.

Interestingly, my life history does give me some first-hand experience in the area I’m about to venture into.

It’s my philosophical speculation that, when criticized repeatedly at a young age, we go inward. I imagine that statement shows up as obvious to most people.

We hide. We erect walls of excuses, denials, and justifications for self-protection. We don’t ask for help or join in team efforts. Etc.

I was criticized in a hurtful manner by a man who was criticized himself. It helped along a tendency, which I can see in past lives, of seeking solitude, concentration and independence – monk, mathematical philosopher, etc.

When my Dad shouted at me from inches away from my face and I dissociated, it just sealed the bargain.  I had no confidence after that to sally forth.

I’m describing this for this person, as an instance of how it can arise that a person could let go of society and turn inwards.

This isolated condition does not stop a person. It just makes things harder and colors our performance. (1) It also keeps us from experiencing our own love.

It results in loneliness, awkwardness, hopelessness, and more.  And getting out of it can be a long process if you don’t know what’s happening or what can help.

***

OK, Act 1, Scene 2.

As a thoroughly-unqualified individual expressing his unasked-for opinion, I call this condition a problem with emergence. (See downloads, below.) A problem with standing forth, showing up, being here now.

We’re adult now, with a need to solve our problems more quickly than we might have had as a child. I see the need of the moment as being to re-emerge, to come out from the fortress we’ve erected and to do it more quickly than we might have if we were still a child.

We also may find we need to re-parent ourselves. More on that on another occasion.

Emergence is not a process taught in school. It was only taught in expensive growth courses in the 1970s!

As a person who went through the process, one of the best ways to do it for me was the Outward-Bound model. I didn’t do Outward Bound itself. I did what was then the est Six Day Course, which had many of the same features (and then some). (2)

This kind of physically-challenging course can cause a breakthrough and emergence. We say “we found ourselves.”  We’ve emerged from our shell. We now know how we did it – once. We resolve to do it again. And again.

A second way was the give-and-take of an encounter group. That could bring about a mental and emotional breakthrough, an inner/outer emergence.  (3)

The Growth Movement was full of breakthrough processes. Whether that literature still exists somewhere (perhaps the Library of Congress) is an open question.

While we may not at present have many elements of the Growth Movement around, after the Reval, I’ll be starting them up again in my local community (Vancouver).  With that, we’ll have more of the mechanisms we need to help people emerge from their psychic wounds. (4)

Whether the prod is physical as in the Outward-Bound model or mental and emotional as in encounter groups, what happens is the circumstances are created for our Adult consciousness to stand forth, to call itself forth, and take charge.

***

Act 1, Scene 3.

I said “Adult” consciousness. What do I mean by that term? Let me explain.

The state that’s called forth is going to be increasingly more of our Higher Self.

But let me use, instead, the terminology which Eric Berne, founder of Transactional Analysis, coined in the Sixties to refer to it.

He saw three “ego states.” I prefer to call them “consciousness states”: Parent, Adult, and Child. I refer you to his numerous books on Transactional Analysis itself on the Parent and Child consciousness states. I want to zero in here on the “Adult” consciousness state.

The “Adult” consciousness state is everything we’ve been discussing in these pages. It’s balanced, centered, grounded, etc. It’s the Higher Self making itself known and felt, as far as I can see.

What emerges is, by definition, what was already there. We already are and have all we’ll ever need.

When we’re in this Adult/emerged state, as Werner Erhard said, we do what works and what we do works.  This state starts out friendly to the divine qualities and ends up immersed in them.

***

Act 1, Scene 4.

Emergence, to take a large subject and squeeze the juice out of it, is the very act of standing forth, of accessing our Adult and allowing it to take charge.

The Adult that stands forth will not allow itself to be confined. It insists on truth and compassion in its own treatment of others and asks it of others as well.

This Adult state loves, listens, and learns as it moves through life. Eventually it taps into the artesian well of love that eternally arises in the opened heart.

That spring cannot flow freely in us when we’re walled off and turned away from others. It has nowhere to go and love must flow. It awaits our opening up.

This just in! An even more hopeful avenue is on the verge of opening up: med beds.  Are they not being presently used on children who were more than just criticized? And do they not erase negative memories?

Finally, in the background to all this is what gives us the most hope: the continually-ascending energies. The very ones bringing all this to the surface are also the very ones that will dissipate it, if we only hang tight.

Curtain falls. End of story. Resumption of life.

On the subject of emergence, see  Let’s Go! Let’s Grow! Vol. 4. Emergence at https://goldenageofgaia.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Lets-Go-Lets-Grow-V4-Emergence-R4.pdf

See also Vasanas: Preparing For Ascension by Clearing Old Issues at https://goldenageofgaia.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Vasanas-Preparing-for-Ascension-R11.pdf

Footnotes

(1) I was helped in making refugee decisions by “knowing what it felt like.”

(2) There are many more personally-challenging growth programs that I’m not aware of.   When people say the armed forces builds character, emergence is the process they’re pointing at. That pre-supposes the armed forces themselves being honorable which, as we know, is regrettably not the case everywhere on Earth.

(3) A third way would be Enlightenment Intensives. That’s too large a subject for me to get into here.

(4) That “more” would include bodywork, bioenergetics, psychodrama, rule reconstruction, etc. However, all of this may now be pre-empted by med beds! We’ll have to see!

Let’s Go! Let’s Grow!

Let’s Go! Let’s Grow!

by Steve Beckow

Part 1 (Part 2 below)

Long and reflective.

A lot of interesting conversations going on backstage, stirred up by Matthew’s last message.  One piece of feedback that arose was that I’m being too intellectual in trying to understand spiritual states.

While we’re all recovering from the holidays, maybe it’s a good time to push back the chair and reflect. And here I’m about to be intellectual. This is the exploration that the comment raised. Just a reflection.

For me, as you know, there are three levels of knowledge: the intellectual, the experiential, and the realized.  (1)

Let me just dwell on one part of that division for a moment.

I have no control over realization. I freely wander into cognitive dissonance to court paradigmatic breakthrough. (2) I ask for realization. I meditate. But that state is bestowed by the Mother, her archangels, our guides, the masters, etc.

I can describe aspects of it. Realization brings release plus bliss. It’s the bliss that lifts us up to a place where simple knowledge there is seen as realization here.

But I have to be careful. My excursions into higher states do not make me a spiritual teacher. Nor do I want to be one. I’m a writer.

***

I still feel reflective. May I unwind?

When I enter a new field, I say to you that I’m establishing a beachhead of understanding about that field. (3) The beachhead is just a landing zone and may be totally abandoned later on.

If I were a non-dualist, I’d jump for joy that I know nothing and have an empty mind. I would just allow things to be rather than establish a beachhead of understanding, which would be seen as limiting me.

But I’m a dualist this lifetime. I serve the Divine Mother. For that I need understanding and the ability to communicate. Sitting in the cloud of unknowing is not appropriate for me in this go-round.

I need to communicate. To do that I need to stay within the universe of discourse of you, the reader I serve. That can mean reducing the ineffable into the language of the day.

I won’t for instance suddenly lapse into an erudite explanation of quantum physics, even if I knew anything about the subject, which I don’t. (I think this article is erudite enough for folks who are working and raising children.)

As a writer I deal in ideas and the ideas need to be comprehensible to my readers.

But the heart of the feedback was that I was being too intellectual. In spirituality it seems either to boil down to a matter of the heart or a matter of balance. Either way you end up in the same place: The tsunami of love that flows in the heart.

If I can develop that feedback, however, it means, to me, staying too much within the orbit of ideas; never escaping and going higher. It means too often reducing living, breathing entities to ideas, which is a task beyond delicate and perhaps impossible.

The emphasis is on the “too much.”  The emphasis is on leaving the center,  the balance point, the heart and wandering off into the extremes of passion, clouded judgment, and abandoned caution.

That’s fine if you’re a young person breaking free of your parents – whoopee!  But a lightworker committed to service? I think we agree to give up those.

If I want to pierce through the cloud of ideas to the experience of it, no matter what we’re looking at, I have to feel into it with the heart.

OK, OK, some abandon is healthy!

(Concluded from Part 1, above.)

A word about awareness and “getting in touch with” something.

In a three-month residential encounter group I did in 1975-6, even critics who were habitually driven to point out blemishes “got in touch with” what was driving them  And it turned out they were just like everyone else except starved for listening and validation.

Getting in touch with a matter frees us from it. Feedback is what assists us with the process.

Awareness has that property, as Jesus tells us here:

Jesus: You have to realize that consciousness is something very powerful. It is much more than a passive registering of an emotion – consciousness is an intense creative force. …

Consciousness is not something static; things do not remain as they are. You will notice that if you do not nourish the energy of the emotion or of your judgment about it, they will gradually dissipate. …

Awareness transforms – it is the major instrument for change. (1)

We’re talking about simple, bare awareness. We’re not talking about having a good idea or analyzing the unanalyzable (love, for instance). And we’re certainly not talking about arguing over something, which, multiplied, leads us to where we are now, in a war of exchange, reduced to arguments, compressed into memes. Not many signs of intelligent life here, as the comedian said.

As a social movement, the path of awareness became “consciousness raising.” We need to re-acquire their tools we left behind some time ago (1982, to be exact). (2)

Raise something to simple, bare, non-judgmental awareness and allow it to be while observing it and you’ll see the issue leave more quickly than otherwise, because of our awareness.

Additionally, you, sitting there passively, paying attention to it but allowing it to do its own thing, is like raising your hand when greeting. It shows you have no (intellectual) weapon in it.

You’re not wrestling with the issue; if you were, it’d remain forever. What we resist persists, as Werner Erhard said. What we allow leaves under its own steam.

Well, that was a rewarding stock-taking for me. Yes, I am very intellectual.

I’m dealing with whole-system interpretations and analyses. What experiential knowledge would look like at this level of generality, I’m not sure I know. I find myself chuckling at the assignment.

As I look at my intellectuality, turning it like a diamond in my mind, I see it has a quality of maleness to it. Pushing through to the heart of the matter, wrapping my  arms around a subject, etc. Very male.

I think someone raised female might do a better job. (3)

Either way, let’s settle back, into the task. Put on the coffee.

Let’s go! Let’s grow!

(2) The recession of 1982 was the first instance I’m aware of of a “jobless recovery.” The forces promoting automation used the recession to shed now-obsolescent labor.

They instantly created a buyer’s market for labor, not only comprised of large numbers of people who had lost their jobs, but also large numbers of people who had lost their careers, professions, etc. Unions collapsed.

The attitude was uncaring, much like the mood of the vaccination discourse today.

“Stop finding yourself, pal,” one commentator chimed in; “It’s time to get back to work — if you still have a job, that is.” (David Olive, “The New Hard Line,” Report on Business Magazine, Oct. 1991, 15.)

Masking it as the depradations of a recession allowed it all to happen with no thought being given to the welfare and wellbeing of the people affected.

Now the QFS will automate the financiers and the circle will be complete: The automators will have been automated.

(3) Having written this and looked it over, I see the point. I am intellectual. Hopefully not so much that I create what Michael was worried about – I lose my reader.
