What is Cosmic Energy and How to Harness It

What is Cosmic Energy and How to Harness It

Cosmic energy is the source of energy that comes from the vastness of space to the smallest particles of matter. It is considered the energy that animates life to maintain balance and harmony in the universe. The concept has its roots in various spiritual and ancient traditions, as it is related to ideas such as prana in Hinduism or chi in Chinese philosophy.

The origins of cosmic energy can be traced back to the creation of the universe itself. Here, the immense amount of energy is transformed into different forms, including celestial, life, and spiritual energy. The transformation underscores its role as a fundamental force that sustains life and connects individuals to a larger cosmic framework.

As a universal life force, cosmic energy flows through unique pathways known as chakras in many spiritual practices. Similarly, it influences physical health, emotional well-being, and spiritual growth.

The Role of Cosmic Energy in Spirituality and Wellness

Cosmic energy plays an important role in bridging the spiritual and material realms. It acts as a conduit for anyone looking to harness harmony between their physical existence and higher consciousness. In spiritual practices, cosmic energy is considered the life force that transcends the limitations of the physical world. The connection develops a sense of unity and purpose that enables people to transcend material concerns and gain insights into their true essence.

One of the contributions of cosmic energy is its ability to enhance self-awareness, cultivate inner peace, and restore emotional balance. When you engage with this energy, they experience an elevated sense of clarity about their thoughts and feelings. Self-awareness allows them to identify and address negative emotions or limiting beliefs that may be holding them back.

Moreover, cosmic energy’s impact extends beyond the spiritual and emotional dimensions. On a mental level, cosmic energy increases stress and anxiety, clears mental clutter, and improves focus. It rejuvenates the mind and enhances creativity and problem-solving abilities. On a physical level, engaging with cosmic energy supports the body’s natural healing processes by restoring energy flow and balance within the body.

How to Connect with Cosmic Energy

Cosmic energy is a special kind of energy that helps us feel calm, happy, and strong. Below are some fun and simple ways you can use to connect with this magical energy:

Meditation

Meditation is sitting quietly and listening to the world inside you. Close your eyes, take slow, deep breaths, and imagine a warm, glowing light filling your body. This light is cosmic energy! It can make you feel peaceful and happy. You can try thinking about your favorite place or listen to a guided meditation to help you focus.

Yoga

Yoga is a fun stretching game that helps cosmic energy flow through your body. When you move into different poses (like pretending to be a tree or a cat), you help your body and mind work together. Don’t forget to breathe slowly while you do yoga; it’s like giving your body a little energy boost.

Visualization

Visualization means using your imagination to connect with cosmic energy. Close your eyes and imagine a bright, colorful light all around you. See the light coming into your body to make you feel strong and happy. You can also imagine yourself in a magical garden or on a mountaintop and soak in the energy from nature.

Spending Time in Nature

Nature is full of cosmic energy! Go outside and feel the sun on your skin, the breeze in your hair, or the grass under your feet. Walking in a park, sitting under a tree, or listening to birds can help you feel calm and connected to the world around you.

Breathing Exercises

Breathing is super powerful! Try breathing in slowly through your nose and then out through your mouth. You can even pretend you’re blowing out birthday candles or smelling a flower. This helps your body relax and opens up space for cosmic energy to flow in to make you feel refreshed and full of life.

These above-mentioned are a few of the methods. If you are ready to embark on your journey to spiritual enlightenment and connect more to cosmic energies, you can directly book our 200-hour yoga teacher training classes.

Conclusion

Cosmic energy is all around us and can help us feel calm, strong, and connected. As you use simple practices like meditation, yoga, spending time in nature, and breathing exercises, you can bring this energy into your life. It helps us feel better, stay balanced, and grow as a person.

Cosmic energy is a gift from the universe that anyone can use. By connecting with it, we can live happier, healthier, and more peaceful lives.

Mindfulness At The Workplace: Why We Need It

Mindfulness At The Workplace:

Why We Need It

By Lori Schlotzhauer

What Is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness may seem like a buzzword, however it is on the cusp of becoming a household name. It is a centuries-old idea that has been reinvented to address modern day mental health challenges.

So what is mindfulness really? It is a “mental state achieved by focusing one’s awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one’s feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as a therapeutic and meditation technique.”

Mindfulness enhances emotional intelligence and equips us with the ability to manage our emotions internally and externally. Mindfulness and its impact on stress is also linked to a number of physiological benefits including lower blood pressure, improved memory, and reduced depression and anxiety.

If one can be more mindful of how they are showing up in the world, it will create space to reflect and potentially show up differently if their current way is not serving them. Mindfulness has been taught in physical healthcare settings, educational institutions, mental healthcare settings, and it now has become increasingly necessary in the workplace setting.

Modern Day Wellness For Every Employee

Today’s employees approach job hunting with a predetermined list of expectations. After adapting to a “new normal” during the COVID-19 Pandemic, more people have become health conscious more than ever before, and now that companies are reverting back to in-office requirements, they may start to sense resistance and anxiety from previously remote employees.

For business leaders needing to retain their employees and attract top talent, it is imperative that they offer wellness programs as part of their employment package. Employers offering mental health benefits for their organization are at an advantage compared to those who fail to provide these sought after services.

Employers have also recognized the importance of their employees’ mental health and the direct relationship to their at-work performance. Offering mental health and mindfulness services not only impacts an employees’ job performance but it shows existing and potential employees that the company truly cares about the individual.

Some of the most cutting-edge companies have placed higher priority on their people and have incorporated corporate wellness programs for their benefit. The movement began among startups in Silicon Valley and has now been implemented by long-established companies across the U.S. and Europe, of varying sizes.

Organizations are becoming more invested in the well-being of employees due to an increased awareness of mental health and the detrimental impacts associated with an unhealthy workforce. Absenteeism, presenteeism, turnover, and a lack of productivity are all very costly issues that are closely tied to employee stress and mental health. The number of sick days lost to serious mental health issues has doubled in the past decade and mental health is the leading cause of sickness-related absences.

Why Is Mindfulness Important In The Workplace?

With the increased number of companies that have implemented mindfulness into their wellness programs, we are starting to see the positive impact this change has made: decreased stress levels while improving focus, thoughtfulness, decision-making abilities, and overall well-being. The benefits of mindfulness are both clear and proven. Mindfulness programs help leaders and employees reflect effectively, focus sharply, manage stress, and recharge quickly.

On an organizational level, mindfulness reduces sick days, increases trust in leadership, and boosts employee engagement. The art of mindfulness empowers people to radically strengthen their ability to adapt quickly to evolving circumstances and motivates them to develop their skills. It creates mental agility and helps people look inward to find answers.

To fully capture the benefits of mindfulness, companies should customize their mindfulness programs. While it is valuable to begin by determining the objective of mindfulness interventions, many organizations have also achieved good results by starting with a small pilot program, such as providing a mindfulness course to senior leadership.

Resilience and the ability to deal with difficult situations is critical to a person’s well-being. During stressful periods, employees with high levels of resilience are more likely to persevere and remain engaged and productive. Mindfulness at work can support resilience by equipping employees with the ability to understand their emotions, levels of stress, and thus enhance their ability to influence them.

We all need mindfulness training and the ability to implement this on the professional level; but where do we start?

Embracing Self-Love, Forgiveness, and Unconditional Love on the Healing Journey

Embracing Self-Love, Forgiveness, and Unconditional Love on the Healing Journey

In the realm of healing, particularly for those dealing with PTSD, the concepts of self-love, forgiveness, and unconditional love emerge as foundational pillars. These themes are not just abstract ideals but practical guides that can transform our journey towards wellness. Self-Love: The Foundation of Healing Self-love is the cornerstone of any healing process. It involves embracing oneself with compassion, acknowledging both strengths and imperfections without judgment. In the face of PTSD, self-love is crucial. It encourages us to prioritize our well-being through self-care practices that nourish the mind, body, and spirit. Whether it’s through meditation, engaging in creative activities, or simply taking moments of rest, self-love helps in building resilience and fostering a sense of inner peace. Forgiveness: Releasing the Past Forgiveness is often misunderstood as a passive act of forgetting past wrongs. However, true forgiveness is a powerful tool for liberation. It allows us to release the emotional burdens of anger and resentment that weigh heavily on our hearts. In the context of PTSD, forgiving oneself for perceived shortcomings or setbacks is vital. Understanding that healing is a non-linear process with its ups and downs can help in fostering a forgiving attitude towards oneself. By letting go of self-criticism, we make room for healing and personal growth. Unconditional Love: The Ultimate Goal Unconditional love transcends all conditions and expectations. It is the purest form of love that nurtures and heals. For those on a healing journey, cultivating unconditional love towards oneself and others can be profoundly transformative. It involves accepting oneself fully, with all vulnerabilities and imperfections, and extending the same grace to others. This form of love can create a supportive environment that fosters healing and strengthens relationships. The Reflective Journey Embarking on a journey towards healing, especially when dealing with PTSD, requires a deep commitment to self-reflection and growth. It is a path filled with challenges but also opportunities for profound transformation. By embracing self-love, practicing forgiveness, and cultivating unconditional love, we can navigate the complexities of our experiences with grace and resilience. These practices are not just beneficial for those with PTSD but are universal in their applicability. They offer a roadmap for anyone seeking to heal from emotional wounds and build a more balanced, harmonious life. As we integrate these principles into our daily lives, we move closer to a state of wholeness and well-being. In essence, the journey of healing is a deeply personal and transformative one. It calls for an unwavering commitment to self-care, an open heart ready to forgive, and a spirit capable of loving unconditionally. Through this journey, we find the strength to heal and the courage to embrace a brighter, more hopeful future. Love, light, healing, and blessings, Twila, The Rebel Nurse

A Vision for Wellness

A Vision for Wellness

The Vision Alignment Project

We see a world where wellness is the watchword of the day; where humanity has realized, oh-so-clearly, that we are wise to hold a vision of ourselves and others in the highest light - happy, healthy, vibrant, joyous, creative, and living our calling to the fullest.

We see a world where supporting sickness in others, having a vested interest in illnesses of any kind, naming, creating, advertising, and reinforcing diseases, being sympathetic instead of empathetic, being dependent on big pharmaceutical companies who have profit as their first priority, believing things are contagious, experimenting with vaccines, and so forth have gone by the wayside because we have begun to use light, to bring Spirit/Source into the picture, and to use positive envisioning and love to heal one another.

Can you imagine a world like this? It is a world where we are all living in peak health because that is all we are putting our attention on.
