We are drawing on the compassionate and timeless wisdom of #19 of The Gabriel Messages to provide insight and inspiration that we can apply every day of our lives.
For this week, the angelic humor from Archangel Gabriel suggests that we remember how important patience is for bringing more Harmony and Alignment into our lives.
Without Patience you can never understand the meaning of Divine Timing.
Patience is so tricky sometimes. It is often difficult to accept and surrender to how Life is transpiring when it's uncomfortable. Divine Timing is a natural law. Life becomes easier when we wait and remember that ... for everything there is a season.
Having patience is difficult for most people. Sometimes I wonder if it is inertia, that we just get on a roll and find it hard to stop. I have had times when it did not seem possible for me to slow down, because it felt like there was so much to do. Life gets very stressful in those moments.
But how much time does it actually take to slow down enough to breathe a little deeper, stopping for one minute to put my hands on my heart to feel that inner sense of coherence? If I can remember my alignment to Source energy, my whole being changes and I feel so much more connected and grounded. This one-minute process can change our consciousness and bring us back into the wisdom of the heart.
There is no way to encourage Divine Timing to move faster. Allowing yourself to have the patience to breathe more deeply and feel at home in yourself helps you to be more at peace with the situations in front of you and allow benevolent outcomes to unfold.
In those times when I try to push against the flow of Divine Timing, technology often goes haywire and nothing works right. Sometimes I can't move forward until I give myself the time to go for a walk so I can relax into feeling more spacious in Nature. This spaciousness allows me to move into an expanded perspective and provides a lovely experience of being supported and inspired by the beauty in the world. Being in Nature raises my vibrational frequency and allows me to feel happy and uplifted. The process of creation is simplified when I give myself this space.
One major practice that helps me focus on my breath and shift consciousness is Hatha Yoga. It teaches me about slowing down and allowing life to flow, as well as strengthening my body. One of the things that amazes me is how I can apply my yoga practice to my life. The continuous deeply connected breaths that are suggested during a yoga class permeate my being, so when I finish the class I am more grounded and patient.
Sometimes I have gone to class in a resistant mood, believing I don't have time to slow down. But within the first 10 minutes or so, my concentration is focused on my breath and allowing my body to stretch quietly and gently. My mind calms down and I feel fully in my body for the first time that day. My whole yoga class becomes a lesson for allowing things to happen without strain. For these reasons, doing an ancient slow energetic practices like Hatha Yoga, Chi Kung or Tai Chi can be incredibly helpful in these challenging times.
Not surprisingly, I leave class and everything that needs to be done gets done, and with much more ease and focus. Or not...but at least I am more allowing of the timing and my mind is not so invested in making things happen. Slowing down my breath and moving more consciously is in harmony with the flow of creative energy. From this place I can allow Divine Timing into every area of my life. When I do, everything becomes more graceful and I am more at ease. Then all is truly well.

1. Close your eyes. Take several deep breaths to help you center, then place your right hand over your heart, and place your left hand on top of the right hand.2. Ask your I AM Presence/Spirit how you can support and love them throughout your day, the way she/he has supported and loved you always.3. Listen to the silence in between the thoughts. This is where the answers from your Spirit will begin to reveal themselves. If the mind is unable to understand or receive a direct answer, simply allow your mind to bask in the silence for a moment.4. Express gratitude to your mind for being willing to embrace the stillness within you.5. Express gratitude to your Spirit for loving you unconditionally.6. Open your eyes and express gratitude for each of your senses—your gifts of sight, sound, taste, touch, and smell.7. As you go throughout the rest of your day, imagine periodically what it would feel like if your heart was smiling.
Believing that we must believe that every thought we have is trueBelieving that the mind needs to operate from fear and victim consciousnessBelieving that we need the approval of anyone other than ourselvesBelieving that we are broken and need fixingBelieving in lack, and not having enoughBelieving that we are not allowed to feel our feelingsBelieving that we are misunderstood, and that no one can understand usBelieving that we need something outside of ourselves to make us happy (a romantic soul partner, a certain lifestyle, a specific body type, etc.)
All these stories, which were created by the mind’s tendency toward self-protection, have the opportunity to be resolved now, so that we can return to the peace that has always been underneath it all.
Spend more time exploring and enjoying natureExpress gratitude often throughout the daySing, dance, knit, or find other ways to express ourselves creativelyNotice and be mindful of our five senses—taking quiet moments to notice the sounds, shapes, colors, tastes, textures, and scents all around usHave a big belly laugh dailyLook into the eyes of everyone we encounter throughout the day, and smile
It’s in the present moment that most of our freedom is experienced, because we are no longer bound to the illusions and habits of the past or worries about the future.
“What does my life look like when I am at peace and happy?”“What are some things I enjoyed doing as a child that I can integrate into my life now?”“What actions or situations feel expansive and good to me?”
