Lets talk about Soul

I have been studying under a great teacher of the wisdom and reading many esoteric books, which are the teachings of Djwal Khul, (DK), "The Tibetan," as channeled and written down by Alice A. Bailey, as well as the Theosophical teachings of Helena Blavatsky.

The power of these teachings are that they truly and tangibly begin to answer all of the questions, that my previous learning did not answer. This information helps fill in the gaps, and then explain what is beyond those gaps. 

While the dictionary definition of Esoteric is unkind, but in some essence true. With this information you and I can go a long way to gaining wisdom, deeper understanding, and inner mastery.

My previous path was very astral and while the teachings were beautiful calming and elevating, with this wisdom there is a grounded “explaining of what's really happening” that also requires patience, courage, and discernment.

I am not trying to sell you anything, or convince you of some ancient method. I am not standing at your door preaching. 
Simply sharing some information and asking you to reach back out to me with questions that are raised, your thoughts, does it feel aligned or not to you. All of the above is perfect.

I share some of what I now understand to further your path, increase your understanding, elevate your perspective, and help you further your spiritual development, whether you are a lawyer, teacher, healer or politician. 

Let me start by just touching on the Soul, because we are all familiar with that.


The Soul

The soul, our Soul is as yet an unknown quantity. It has no real place in the theories of the academic and scientific investigators. It is unproven and regarded by even the more open-minded of the academicians as a possible hypothesis, but lacking demonstration. It is not accepted as a fact in the consciousness of humanity.
  • The soul, is neither spirit nor matter, but is the relation between them. 
  • The soul is the mediator between this duality; it is the middle principle, the link between God and His form. 
  • Therefore the soul is another name for the Christ principle, whether in nature or in man.
The soul is that which gives distinctive characteristics and differing form manifestations.

The soul plays upon matter, forcing it to assume certain shapes, to respond to certain vibrations and to build those specified phenomenal forms which we recognise our world as mineral, vegetable, animal, and human.

The qualities, vibrations, colours, and characteristics in all the kingdoms of nature, are soul qualities. 
  • Therefore the soul, through these qualities and characteristics, manifests as conscious response to matter, for the qualities are brought into being through the interplay of the pairs of opposites, spirit and matter, and their effect upon each other. This is the basis of consciousness.
  • The soul is the conscious factor in all forms, the source of that awareness which all forms register.
  • Therefore the soul might be defined as that significant aspect in every form (made through this union of spirit and matter) which feels, registers awareness, attracts and repels, responds or denies response, and keeps all forms in a constant condition of vibratory activity.

Let me give some real world examples:
  • It is that which in the vegetable world, produces in response to the sun’s rays and the unfolding of the seed bud.
  • It is that in the animal kingdom which enables the dog to love its master, the eagle to hunt its prey, and animals follow out their instinctual life
  • It is that in man which makes him aware of his environment, the quality of who he or she is in their uniqueness

Our self-conscious soul is en rapport with the soul of all things. It is an integral part of the universal Soul, and because of this can become aware of the conscious purpose of Deity; can intelligently co-operate with the Will of God, and thus give us intuition to work with the Plan of Evolution.
