There has been a lot of buzz around Lissa Rankin's article and millions have read it. (link is below)

The for profit spiritual machine is closing down - as it should. 

It is not the end of spiritual teaching, training, and mentoring, and holistic services, but the beginning of ethical, authentic, and honest support by qualified people. 

I wanted to mention something I have been thinking about today given the news about the spiritual community's dark and sordid business and it is something I have been considering for several months. 

I would like to offer a business training program specifically for holistic practitioners - intuitives, energy workers, healers, tarot, numerology, reiki, yoga teachers, light and sound healers, animal communicators - every holistic practitioner could benefit. 

The program would be 6 weeks with training in starting and managing your business, how to make money (very important), how to get clients, marketing, promotion, and customer retention, how to use technology in your business, methods and processes I use and have perfected in 23 years. 

And you would receive a certification from me for completing the program that you can use on your website and in your marketing. 

I have the added benefit of being a business expert, with degrees, over 23 years of experience owning my holistic business, and strong reputation for ethics and honesty. 

The program would give you everything you need to start your business with confidence, clarity, and a very clear strategy and operational plan. This is real business training, not mindset or nervous system fluff. No one who offers business training has my expert credentials. 

The program is planned to start March 21 with an early signup offer. Cost would be affordable - less than $500.  I do not believe in charging thousands for programs, I never have. 

If you do not need startup business training, I am also considering a monthly membership for holistic practitioners that focuses on your particular business issues with training, coaching, and Q&A sessions that would also be affordable.

Thank you so much to everyone who participated in our survey of what works best for you to gain a higher state of consciousness. Here is what we learned from it.

The response notes contained a wonderful variety of ways to reach up into a higher state of awareness. As expected, everyone has their own specific preferences, but the common threads are also very informative.

The most often-quoted method of raising consciousness was Thoughts of Gratitude (81% of respondents) followed by Meditation (67%). Other Methods (59%) included QiGong, Reiki, and reading inspirational material, plus a huge number of people specifying walking in nature or just being in nature.

The other categories selected were Prayer (55%), Affirmations (53%), Energy Work (48%), Guided Meditations (33%), and Yoga (30%).

It occurred to me that, with the widespread support for being in nature, you can also use that as a visualization even if you're nowhere near nature at the time. You can imagine your favorite scene in places such as woods, hills, a garden, or on a beach. Or, be creative and imagine your own ideal setting in nature, then it can look even better!

The popularity of meditation shows that most people take a serious interest in going deeper in consciousness and they are willing to allocate time to focus on that goal.

Visualizing white light helps intensify the amount of etheric life energy you draw in from your environment. For example, when breathing in, you can see the air coming into your lungs as being filled with white light.

The violet flame visualization was also mentioned. There are different versions of violet flame practices; the one I choose recognizes it as the form of a powerful energy of purification provided on request by the Mother Earth. If you visualize light violet-colored energy coming up from the earth, rising through and around your body until it reaches way above your head, you will feel cleansed and re-energized from a day of interacting with other people.

The same type of purification is achieved to a lesser degree by taking a shower when you come home from a day of dealing with other people. Water attracts and carries etheric energy, so it cleanses, not just your physical body, but also your aura.

The affirmation, "I AM" is widely used. A focus on the "I AM" presence within can be aided by repeating those words or by using the Sanskrit version, "Om." An expanded option to connect with your ultimate Self is, "I am Infinite Being."

The popularity of Thoughts of Gratitude as a way to raise consciousness makes you wonder where you might place your focus for the best effect. Day-to-day thoughts of gratitude are usually about the good things in your life - the love of friends and family, the material support you enjoy, health, and the opportunity to pursue greater awareness in life. But, what if you aimed for the highest focus you could imagine?

To do that, consider the stairway to heaven that leads back to the Creator. The soul of the Mother Earth is based in 7D and she maintains her 3D physical body in order to support us with a home in space. The Sun, with its soul in 8D, gives us a constant supply of energy with which to experience life. And, the Creator based in 12D created life in all its forms and possibilities. For that, we are thankful for the adventure of discovery that life delivers so that we can fulfill our primary purpose of expansion of consciousness.

Focusing your gratitude on aspects of truly higher realms, like the Mother Earth, the Sun, and then the Creator of all life raises the effectiveness of the practice of giving gratitude considerably.
