There has been a lot of buzz around Lissa Rankin's article and millions have read it. (link is below)

The for profit spiritual machine is closing down - as it should. 

It is not the end of spiritual teaching, training, and mentoring, and holistic services, but the beginning of ethical, authentic, and honest support by qualified people. 

I wanted to mention something I have been thinking about today given the news about the spiritual community's dark and sordid business and it is something I have been considering for several months. 

I would like to offer a business training program specifically for holistic practitioners - intuitives, energy workers, healers, tarot, numerology, reiki, yoga teachers, light and sound healers, animal communicators - every holistic practitioner could benefit. 

The program would be 6 weeks with training in starting and managing your business, how to make money (very important), how to get clients, marketing, promotion, and customer retention, how to use technology in your business, methods and processes I use and have perfected in 23 years. 

And you would receive a certification from me for completing the program that you can use on your website and in your marketing. 

I have the added benefit of being a business expert, with degrees, over 23 years of experience owning my holistic business, and strong reputation for ethics and honesty. 

The program would give you everything you need to start your business with confidence, clarity, and a very clear strategy and operational plan. This is real business training, not mindset or nervous system fluff. No one who offers business training has my expert credentials. 

The program is planned to start March 21 with an early signup offer. Cost would be affordable - less than $500.  I do not believe in charging thousands for programs, I never have.

In 2004 I predicted that a new generation of spiritual teachers would eventually take over spiritual training. At the time the spiritual community was dominated by people like Wayne Dyer, Hay House authors, and a few others. 

Starting in 2011 the for profit spirit industry began growing (right when Neptune entered Pisces) and I predicted their eventual downfall. 

I watched from the sidelines, managing my own business and global audience, as they overran good teachers, people made millions and charged many thousands for fluff and nonsense. James Arthur Ray was charged with murder, and the entire industry became increasingly dark and sordid. 

The industry managed to keep most of this secret while their paid actors made millions. 

So I was rather surprised when an article appeared in my inbox yesterday , written by Lissa Rankin, a 'spiritual industry' insider, blasting the entire industry. She names names, talks about what happens behind the scenes - it was rather shocking to learn about what has been going on. 

You can read the article at this link - but a word of caution. If you are not ready to see your favorite guru(s) fall off of their pedestals, do not read this article. Yes Chopra is mentioned but so are a lot of other people. 

This validates and confirms what I have been saying for over 15 years and it's time for these people who have been scamming and grifting the public for years - to go away. 

But we won't be without spiritual teachers, mentors, and support because there are many great, soul-led, and talented teachers who have been prevented from being seen and heard by the marketing machines of these industry profiteers. 

And that ends now - just as we have a Saturn/Neptune conjunction (for the first time in 7000+ years) that is bringing alignment, ethics, and truth to the spiritual teaching community.

Now we move forward and those of you who have a calling, it is time to stand up, speak up, and shine.

The Jupiter/Chiron square can bring a lot of memories to the surface and some of them are painful and confirms that sometimes cutting ties to toxic people is the best, wisest, and only solution.

As we are moving towards greater empowerment and energetic sovereignty, situations where we put up with bad behavior can come to the forefront.

This opening of your 'closet of bad memories' is an opportunity for completion and closure, not to remind you of what you did wrong or to judge your actions at a time when you thought you were making the best decision.

One of my memories appeared out of the 'closet of bad memories' this week, a truly outrageous story of family toxic behavior that, looking back, should have been dealt with much more forcefully. Yet when I spoke to my mother about it she just said, 'Well, she has problems."

When you are raised with toxic behavior, it becomes normalized and standing against it means total rejection.

If you have felt unsupported and dismissed when you had legitimate claims for support and should have been, you know what I am talking about.

Reflecting back on the situation, I do wish I had the confidence and courage to demand an apology and support, but I was called a 'troublemaker' when I asked for accountability and genuine family behavior from my toxic family.

If you're having family issues now and are reconsidering those connections, give credit to this aspect. You may finally have the courage to stand up, step up, and clear out those connections that have been the source of so much pain, trauma, and suffering for many years.

September is here and it is going to be a month to remember.  It brings two  eclipses, the Virgo Alpha Omega Portal, and the movement of Saturn into Aries and  other major planetary shifts.

It’s time for us and you may be feeling it. The struggle, suffering,sorrows, and grief of the past are coming to pay us a final visit. Will we send them on their way? That’s an individual choice but it would be a good idea.

If you have any doubts about the people, relationships, and situations in your life this is a  good month to make decisive decisions about them, decisions that highlight and expand your joy, love, abundance, and peace of mind and heart.

If you’re ready to rumble and roar, September will be a great month for you.

Some months carry such a big energy signature that they announce their arrival days or weeks before they begin.  I have been feeling the shift in energy as September approaches for the past two weeks. It’s the reason I moved all of the furniture in my office around, move the supplies and fulfillment center for my Peau D’Ange Skin Care to a bigger space, decided to paint my dining room, and make some significant life changes.

Those are fitting actions in a month whose number 9 invites endings, closure, release, replacement, all to make way for beginnings. The 9 of September in the 9 of 2025 is a 9. Did you know that one of the properties of the number 9 is that any number that is a multiple of 9 always adds up to a 9? It’s the only number with this property.

The powerful 9, which is the anchored energy of the 8 expresses itself on September 1 which is a 10 day, new beginnings. All month we are invited to consider new potentials, allow new possibilities, be open to new perspectives, and to explore new horizons. And if this inspires and motivates you to get out of the long-term energetic doldrums you may have been in, I urge you to remember what I always say, ‘It’s for now, not forever.’

With the vast potential of September the one thing that can stop the expression of its energy is our quest to find the perfect solution, the one perfect thing that we can count on to work and endure forever. Nothing does that. Small steps achieve big goals and part of the small step is to do what is right and best for today, and change course when necessary.

Starting from Day 1 September promises to be a month to remember, full of action and intrigue, big upsets and bigger wins, major shifts, and new energies. For several months we have had all of the major planets – Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto – in early degrees, at 1 or 0 of their sign. That is a rare event and it continues well into 2026 although we get a break when Saturn retrogrades into Pisces, starting September 1.

The other aspect of September that gives more meaning to its vast potential for transformation as a turning point is its mid-year position in the solar year. While it is the 9th month in the calendar year, it is the 6th month in the solar year that begins March 21 with the Spring Equinox. So if you think back to March and want to change what you started then, this is an excellent time to do it.

The first week of September is a real opening act with Saturn going retro at 0 Aries on September 1, Uranus going retro at 1 Gemini on September 7, and a total lunar eclipse on September 7 at 15 Virgo/Pisces, the midpoint of Pisces now featured because Saturn is in Pisces until February 2026.

On September 2 Saturn returns to Pisces, a place it held with Neptune for nearly 3 years. This is not a bad thing, it is actually quite good as I have always said. Saturn in Pisces brings a spiritual dimension to our reality. It compels us to ground spirituality into our reality instead of abandoning our 3D world for a better, more peaceful, 5D option.

This is an integration, not a takeover. Ascension is creating ‘heaven on earth,’ so let’s not focus on the heaven part because it feels or sounds better, and forget the earth. And with Neptune also re-entering Pisces in October, we will have the foundation for establishing a truly  integrated 3D/5D ascension path. This continues until February 2026 so we have plenty of time to work on it.

Pluto remains in Aquarius  for the duration now, holding the 5D energy space for us as we navigate these new energies in the same way that Neptune held the energy in Pisces from 2011 through 2025 while we went through all of that chaos.

Ready for week 2? After the first week we will certainly be needing some energy assistance but there’s more. We have a solar eclipse on September 21 with the new moon at 29 Virgo, which ends the Alpha Omega Portal that began August 23. That same week we have the personal planets, Mercury, Venus, and Mars, entering Libra, Virgo, and Scorpio (respectively). We have not had this kind of full zodiac representation in many years and it brings back memories of the Harmonic Concordance of the late 1980s (for those of you who remember that).

September’s energy is a crucible of transformation with all of this energy bursting in, inviting us to reclaim our divine heritage, recapture our power, release the grief and trauma of the past, align with new potentials, explore our field of potential, and embrace old dreams and new possibilities.

The energy theme of September is Align – Restore – Expand referring to our continuous need to align with energy and allow that alignment to shift as needed, to restore our energetic blueprint to its highest capacity, and to continuously expand our energy field to have energetic space for new potentials. We get stuck because our energy field needs to expand and we do not allow that. We let grief, sadness, judgment, criticism, fear, and traumas from the past convince us that as long as we are reasonably satisfied we should not complain.

A friend of mine used to quote this old saying ‘From the moment you’re born until you ride in a hearse, things are never so bad that they could not be worse.’ Justifying staying in bad situations because ‘it could be worse’ may be the way that we have lived in the past but it is not going to work for us now. We want joy, fulfillment, satisfaction, expansion, and to know that as good as a situation is, it can be even better.  

I  know that those of us whose parents  and grandparents knew  the limitations and trauma of deprivation and war instilled the need to be cautious, to not expect or ask for too much, to limit what we take, and ‘save for a rainy day.’  My mother, who was a young child during WW2 in France, used to say to me ‘I hope you never have to regret every bread crust you threw away’.  At the time I had no idea what she was talking about.

But many years later, when I found out that she often had nothing to eat because there was no food, I understood the comment fully and knew why food was never wasted, and xxhaving enough was always the most we could expect.

We learn to be grateful for enough but in the unlimited abundance of the Universe that is a tiny fraction of what is actually available to us.  What if we could have plenty, more than enough, so much that we would never run out? Did you learn anything with the Virgo Alpha Omega Portal of the August and September new moons? In Virgo it’s about work, health, and service. That’s the overview. In reality, it is about our soul mission, our energetic health and well-being, and how we choose between the Martyred Healer and Empowered Master Paradigm.  This is more than giving our power away, being in service rather than of service, it is how we accept, align with, integrate, and use our power. ‘Giving our power away’ is a popular phrase and that is partly true. The better term is subjugation – we give others power and control over us and then let them use our power against us. It’s time for a change.

And September is going to bring opportunities for instant karma, which we just saw happen in the past few days when a Polish CEO took a signed hat meant for a young boy at the US Open tournament. It was all caught on film. The internet community was outraged. While there can be times when its behavior is not so good, as a community the internet does not like it when an adult steals from a child, and they went into action.

At first the Polish CEO defended his actions, saying he was faster and it was ‘first come, first served.’ As he learned, that was the wrong thing to say. Then after 24 hours of internet justice, he apologized and said he would return the hat and thought it was meant for him. You can see the video, he took it and then gave it to his wife, also taking a selfie with her as they  laughed.

 What caused this sudden act of paltry contrition? Getting scorched online by millions of people around the world, being blasted on his websites and social media for his theft and arrogance probably made him realize that he was not going to get away with it. And he may be banned from attending future US Open events. He deserved it. What he did was mean and wrong and what’s worse, his name will forever be linked with that event because it got so much attention and the internet is forever.

Use September’s blast of energy to create the change you want in your life. Be bold and daring, be open to new perspectives, let yourself see your life without trauma, judgment, difficult people, and impossible situations. What happens if you stand fully in your power, you create your own High Vibes Wealth™ Life, you create a life of plenty, rather than settling for enough?

We have the energy and the opportunity to explore this as a new life option. Who is ready to try it out? Being in a constant state of joy, having plenty, manifesting from a place of absolute clarity and confidence, being energetically congruent, and balancing our spiritual and material realities. While going through some old files on my computer today I found this article that I wrote exactly 12 years ago this week, on April 25, 2013. 

It speaks to our desire to complete our healing cycles and why we must move on.  That is what we were trying to do at the time but we still had some work to do. 

Now we are in a new phase of our Ascension cycle and it is really time to consider our new paradigms, 5D is waiting for us. 

What does this mean for the people in our lives? It means they have to figure some things out for themselves while we move into our new portals. 

We do not 'leave anyone behind', we honor their energetic sovereignty to make their own choices and deal with their own consequences. 

Freedom is one step away from our CORE karma energies - commitment, obligation, responsibility, and expectations. This is a good time to take that step. 

Here is my article from April 2013 and it is very relevant today.  We are going through the same things, just at a different level today.  The radio show referenced is my Blog Talk Radio show which I held every Wednesday from 2008 to 2016:

"I've been feeling rather heartsick the last few days, as we are at such a pivotal point on this journey and things appear to be getting better instead of worse (they really aren't but we are aware of so much more when we are at newer levels of frequency and vibration).

After the radio show, I asked my guides to give me some guidance and peace because I really needed it. They told me that all of humanity is in a testing period and how we are doing it now is the difference between grade school and university.

In grade school, the teacher gives the class a test, everyone takes it together and when you finish, you sit quietly at your desk until everyone has finished.

In university, everyone gets the test at the same time but when you're finished, you are free to leave the room and do something else because your test is finished.

On the radio show I talked about how the world needs examples of different paths it can now take in these new paradigms that are opening up.

They know the current world paradigm is tired, old and not working but that is what they know and they'll try to make it work until something better comes along. If no one shows them anything better, they will continue to walk the path they are on even though it is not serving them in expansive, fulfilling ways.

As the saying goes, 'the devil we know is better than the devil we don't know.'

The healers and teachers who have been mirroring the healing now have to mirror the new lifestyles and ways of being. I think we have to resist the urge to stay in the old energy and transmute it, which is how we have shifted energy in the past and instead, stand aside and create a new energetic space of joy, peace, love and abundance.

Not easy to do when you're heartsick and feeling like the world is falling off a cliff but it must be done now. The only way to get out of this whirlpool of density is to introduce a way out of it. If you're feeling like you are in the whirlpool, what can you do to get out of it and that only takes a shift in your energy and intention for your life.

Start that today, by focusing on the life you want to have and you'll be able to start moving the energy in that direction. The energy is moving very quickly now anyway, we might as well start pushing it in the direction we want it to go or we'll all get carried away by it and that isn't very pleasant, as we have experienced in the last week."

In 2 days we start a new solar year, the Equinox is March 20. This is a very important Equinox and not just because it features Venus and Mercury retrograde, and is right in the middle of 2 eclipses.

We are moving between stress and success, between the density of 3D and creative force of 5D, being shaken from our lethargy and pulled from polarity into duality.

The 4D bridge is either a very attractive option or it's a 'no go zone'.

So many options but really only one choice - do you move along the Ascension path into 5d living or stay in 3D and continue to heal, integrate, align, and stay in karma cycles.

And the choice isn't obvious because it means big changes to how we live, who we live with, who is in our inner circle and who is not going to be part of our lives any more.

It is stressful and exciting at the same time.

Our energy field is stretched to the max and our emotions are in a battle with our intention.

What is the final outcome in this final countdown to our new solar year?

This is the first solar year with Pluto in Aquarius, a real watershed moment for us.

It is also the last one with Neptune in Pisces as it ends its 14 year Pisces placement.

Our Ascension path is changing course and we have to be ready for this monumental change.

A lot is changing in these next few days and weeks. Are you ready? I am!

Shine on - hands on the wheel and eyes on the road because we're traveling fast now.

We have come full circle - no way to go but up, out, and beyond.

How to avoid disturbances and annoyances during retrograde periods

It’s Mercury retrograde and for the next 4 to 9 weeks (including the post retro shadow period) you can expect all kinds of disruptions in communications and travel, annoying mishaps, forgetfulness, do-overs, and the typical Mercury retro snafus.

But this Mercury retro comes with a bonus - Venus is retrograde too and surprise! they both went retrograde at the same degree, 10 Aries, that will be featured in the solar eclipse of March 29.

No it’s not necessary to sit at home and do nothing for the next 12 weeks but it is an opportunity to do some serious introspection and life path review and while you’re at it, consider the results you want in your life now because this special astro aspect has only happened a few times in over 2500 years, most recently in 1248, 1782, and 1985.

Notice the 1782 date - that marked the previous Pluto in Aquarius transit - also called the ‘Age of Enlightenment’. Welcome to the Age of Enlightenment 2.0.

Now the other interesting thing about this Mercury Retrograde is its timing and path. It is time to coincide with this year’s Spring Equinox, the start of the astrological year, when the sun crosses the 0 Aries point, the very beginning of the zodiac. In ancient times this was the new year and it is a new year for us.

And Mercury will be retrograding from Aries to Pisces with this retrograde, also hitting the 0 Aries point (as will Venus) and on March 31 Neptune will hit the 0 Aries point, as will Saturn in mid-May. That is a lot of energy for new beginnings, fresh starts, and new beginnings. In fact, in 2025 the 0 Aries point will be crossed no less than 9 times. That’s a new record.

Considering everything else that has been happening in the past few months, starting with Pluto’s historic entry into Aquarius in November 2024, it’s time for a giant redo of our ascension path. What are we doing, where are we going, how are we progressing, what is our focus and what do we want to achieve - what are the results we want? That seems like a lot to consider but it all boils down to a single, common denominator - we want to be happy, feel safe and secure, to know joy, and to feel accomplished and fulfilled. If we can also feel loved, valued, and appreciated, that’s icing on the cake, as the saying goes.

And this is our time to allow that to happen. It may mean getting rid of a lot of outdated energies and people, giving ourselves an energetic makeover, taking care of ourselves, and giving our ascension path a good look. Are we connected to people who really ‘love, honor’, and respect’ us? Do we like who we are and who we are being? Do we like our life or is it time for a radical change. Remember we are also in an eclipse portal now too so anything is possible and radical moves can be expected.

So with all of this going on just remember it is Mercury retrograde until April 8, with the shadow period ending April 27. And if you feel like making some radical, life altering changes during that time, don’t be surprised.

Meanwhile, here are some guidelines for Mercury retrograde.

Mercury retrograde happens 3 or 4 times a year and it lasts for a total of around 9 weeks. It’s a time when it’s wise to be aware of the situations that can arise during these periods, such as missed communications, delays in travel, technology glitches, misplacing items, misunderstandings, and a wide variety of upsets and annoyances that always seem to happen during a Mercury retrograde.

During retrograde periods Mercury appears to slow down and go backwards and while that doesn’t really happen, from the earth’s perspective it appears to. Mercury rules communication, short travel, siblings, and karma and while it’s retrograde these situations appear to be highlighted and can cause a great deal of trouble and chaos.

For example, you’re taking a trip and you run out of gas on the way to the airport because the 2 gas stations you tried to stop at were busy or closed. During a Mercury retro you should not wait until the last minute to do something like fill your gas tank.

During a Mercury retro I misplaced my set of keys and could not find them for 2 days. I finally found then hanging on a bulletin board in the kitchen - which I had passed by dozens of times as I was looking for them but I never saw them.

If you have important meetings or events, double check your communications and make phone calls, this is not a time to rely on email. For example, you have a critical meeting set up with a new client and you have sent the scheduling emails and confirmed everything. You show up at the appointed time and the client is not there. You wait for 30 minutes and then leave, thinking you have been stood up. But the client had a computer problem and lost their email and the event address, as well as your phone number, so they did not know where to go. Mercury retrograde is never a good time to rely on electronic communications!

I have always been amazed at how many organizations schedule big maintenance projects or software upgrades during a Mercury retrograde. I don’t know if it is intentional or not, but as a former network administrator and software manager, I would never have done that without making adequate preparations and taking precautions to ensure I was covered for any unforeseen down times, problems, issues, or outages because if they are going happen, they will during a Mercury retrograde.

Some people say that you should not start new projects or sign contracts during a Mercury retro but since that would involve delaying these matters for 36 weeks out of the year, that is not logical or possible. However, it is wise to go over fine print, review all details, and to anticipate delays and do-overs during a Mercury retro.

While life doesn’t stop during Mercury retrograde it does slow down and it is a good time to refresh, regroup, renew, reconsider, release or reboot, relax, rest, and double check everything!

Here is a Mercury retrograde survival guide for you, all things to do during a Mercury retrograde which includes the period before and after the actual 4 week retrograde, called the ‘shadow’ period. Hopefully this will help you avoid problems and disruptions during this time. Overall, each Mercury retrograde lasts about 9 weeks and they happen 3 or 4 times a year.

1. allow extra time for travel and be prepared for delays, reroutes, and cancellations
2. double check your communications and if it's important, follow up in person by phone, especially for email and other electronic communication
3. any new projects started now may require review or do-overs, carefully look at all the details
4. watch where you put your things, it's easy to get distracted and forget where you put things during Mercury retro times
5. Take some time to rest, reflect, relax, review, renew or release, reconsider, and reorganize, regroup, and re-vibe your life. If things go wrong or there are problems they will come up in a Mercury retrograde and rather than responding in the same way, it may be time to reconsider your options and do something different this time.

Life is so busy that we have to go on autopilot to handle it all. This means we ‘put up with’ or tolerate a lot of things, we have learned to ignore or disregard the less annoying life challenges, and we set an acceptable level of chaos and discord in our lives. But that gets amplified with Mercury goes retrograde so we have to pay attention to it and start making changes.

Use Mercury retrograde to take some down time, reorganize and restructure those aspects of your life that could use some attention, organize your kitchen, closets, and your physical space. And know that Mercury retrograde doesn’t last forever and it will eventually be over and you’ll be back on track again - maybe with a different focus, a new perspective, and less chaos and disruption.
