Each morning I do a quick scan of the headlines coming over the wire services, clear my emails and Facebook entries, and then take a closer look at The New York Times online, paying particular attention to the opinion pages. I usually am not disappointed in my belief that the President Joe Biden Administration as well as ex-President Donald Trump, have been and continue to be collectively destroying what was once an admirable nation, something like flushing us repeatedly down the toilets of their ambition and greed.

In that light, last Friday was particularly bad and I had what I have come to call a Gadarene Swine moment. For those unfamiliar with the New Testament tale, which comes from the Gospel of Mark , it tells how Jesus encountered a madman during his Galilean ministry who was infested with demons. When so many corporate and government fiefdoms are dependent on COVID-19 money in a time of historic economic contraction, occupational and advertising ideologies develop to redefine what viruses are. Ideology is not a mere idea or scientific definition but a rationale to cover up economic interests, such as free enterprise ideology covering up a monopoly economy, communism camouflaging oligarch wealth concentration or vegetables are health food not poisons.  George Bernard Shaw expressed it this way: “Every profession (occupation) is a conspiracy against the laity”.   Sociologist Peter Berger describes how occupational ideology operates: “it is much easier to deceive ourselves, given that, the liar, by definition, knows he is lying, but the ideologist does not.”  So, getting an accurate conception of bugaboo viruses is nearly sociologically impossible in a welfare capitalist state due to so many vested interests by those in power and secrecy surrounding bioweapons...

What’s the old saying? Oh, yes, “Better late than never.” No idiom better fits the articles of impeachment recently filed against Joe Biden.

MSN has the report:

It’s official: Articles of impeachment have been introduced against President Joe Biden following the investigation into his complicit involvement in his son Hunter’s illegal overseas business deals.

Biden is facing four articles alleging high crimes and misdemeanors by Biden.

Republican Rep. Greg Steube of Florida says it’s time to take action. “It’s long past time to impeach Joe Biden,” Steube said. “He has undermined the integrity of his office, brought disrepute on the Presidency, betrayed his trust as President, and acted in a manner subversive of the rule of law and justice at the expense of America’s citizens.”

Between 2009 and 2017, then-Vice President Biden received “payments and business opportunities from foreign and domestic business partners” through business relationships with his son, Hunter, and his brother, James.
