New Moon July 2026 – Showdown

New Moon July 2026 – Showdown

By Astrology King

Post on July 11, 2026

The New Moon July 2026 astrology is incredibly powerful because it coincides with the climax of the Magic Triangle of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.

The spiritual meaning of the July 2026 New Moon is to overcome fear, anxiety and rivalry amid heightened instability and volatility, amplified by Jupiter.

New Moon July 2026 Astrology

The New Moon on July 14, 2026 is at 21°59′ Cancer. It aligns with Mercury, but more significantly, it coincides with the Minor Grand Trine between Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.

The Magic Triangle is the most striking, powerful and consequential planetary alignment in our lifetimes and this century. Climaxing during the first week of this moon phase from July 14 to 21, its dramatic influence is amplified by Jupiter opposite Pluto as shown in the chart below.

New Moon July 2026 Meaning

Sun conjunct Moon represents cyclic renewal as a new 28-day moon phase begins. You can draw a line under the past, turn over a new leaf, and start fresh. You can also question old habits, behaviors, and beliefs as you search for creative, inventive ways to grow and prosper.

The monthly alignment of the Sun and Moon reconciles your conscious ego and subconscious feelings, providing balance, focus and perspective. It gives a rejuvenating burst of energy, initiative, and enthusiasm, excellent for defining your priorities and setting ambitious goals.

The July 2026 New Moon is so powerful and comes at such a critical time for humanity that I am listing all the planets with their star conjunctions. Where the “Emperor” is mentioned in the Chinese asterisms, it applies to President Trump, as he is the leader of the world’s superpower, or as he likes to say, the most powerful leader in the history of the world.

Pluto

Pluto ℞ (04♒35) conjunct β Cap (04♒26): Dabih brings losses, misfortune, suspicion, mistrust and disappointment. Niu the Ox governs passes, bridges and sacrificial animals. It portends power struggles, crises and war over gateways and chokepoints, the execution of high-ranking generals, earthquakes, high cattle mortality and high commodity prices, especially for livestock and grain crops.

This explains why the Strait of Hormuz has become the central issue in the US-Israel war with Iran, causing the largest oil supply shock in history, a global economic crisis and potential stock market crash, recession or depression. The scarcity of fertilizer will lead to lower grain yields, livestock deaths, higher food prices, food insecurity, famine and starvation, especially next year.

Neptune

Neptune S℞ (04♈24) conjunct c Psc (04♈20): Tugong the Official for Earthworks and Buildings governs civil engineering and construction and passages. It portends the beginning of construction work.

This reinforces Pluto’s war over gateways (passages), includes religion and the navy in the wars, and highlights oil and gas price shocks among the commodity issues. It also adds uncertainty and weakness to the single largest construction project in history, the AI data centers. This could lead to a slowdown in construction, the bursting of the AI bubble, a stock market crash and scandals involving contamination and illness associated with the data centers.

Uranus

Uranus (04♊20) conjunct ν Per (04♊11): Perseus the Champion gives an intelligent, strong, bold and adventurous nature but a tendency to lie. It is indicative of events affecting large numbers of people, especially those events caused by major meteorological phenomena. Juanshe the Rolled Tongue governs speech, strategic thinking, and treacherous and slanderous individuals. It portends harm from gossip and falsehoods, the outbreak of war and many losses and deaths.

This indicates the use of AI to spread lies and propaganda in war, to enhance weapons and to deceive through deepfake videos.

Saturn

Saturn (14♈37) conjunct α And (14♈40): Alpheratz gives independence, freedom, love, riches, honor and a keen intellect. With Saturn, open and affable but miserly, seeks popularity, pretends to be religious for business ends, favors from clergy and lawyers, likelihood of wealth, domestic harmony.

Bi the Wall governs literature and the realm’s secret texts and records. It portends the emperor favoring martial pursuits over classical scholarship, the study of texts falling into neglect, and imminent construction projects involving earthworks. With Saturn, state records and maps flourish, and the emperor enjoys longevity. There will be either abundant harvests or crop failures, and widespread illness.

Jupiter

Jupiter (03♌04) conjunct ι UMa (03♌09): Ursa Major, the Greater Bear, gives prudence, suspicion, mistrust, self-control, and patience, but an uneasy spirit and great anger and revengefulness when roused.

Santai, the Three Platforms, governs the proclamation of virtue and prophecy. ι UMa governs destiny and the emperor. It portends that the ruler is fond of war, builds palaces, expands gardens, indulges in sensual pleasures, and is weak.

Mars

Mars (10♊59) conjunct σ² Tau (10♊52): Fuer the Whisper governs the hearing of matters regarding gains and losses, misconduct, evil, and misfortune. It portends waning power of the central kingdom, the emergence of thieves and bandits, border guards on alert, or foreign nations rebelling.

α Tau (10♊09): Aldebaran is associated with war and gives courage, ferocity, and gain of power and wealth through others, but its benefits seldom prove lasting. There is a danger of exaggeration, dissent, arguments, violence, riots, revolution, self-destruction, and sickness. With Mars, great military preferment but attended by much danger, accidents, fevers, violent death and catastrophes due to weather conditions, e.g., floods, shipwrecks.

Bi the Net governs border troops and hunting expeditions. Aldebaran represents the commander overseeing the barbarian regions. With Mars, border forces become anxious and a major battle occurs, or military conflict arises but then ceases.

Venus

Venus (05♍11) conjunct i Dra (05♍17): Tianyi represents the spirit of the Celestial Emperor, governing warfare, fortune and misfortune. It portends chaos, war, rebelling ministers and soaring grain prices.

New Moon July 2026 and Mercury

New Moon (21♋59) and Mercury (19♋50) conjunct α Gem (20♋36): Castor gives distinction, a keen intellect, creativity, success in law, many travels, a fondness for horses, but also misfortune, mischief and violence. Sudden fame and honor are possible but often followed by loss of fortune, great affliction, trouble, disgrace, sickness, a nervous breakdown or a broken arm or leg.

With Sun, government work dealing with foreign affairs, prominence in writing and occult matters but coming at a high price, cynicism, business losses, serious accidents, blows, stabs, shooting, shipwrecks, injuries to the face, blindness, disease, violent fevers, rape, imprisonment, banishment, decapitation. With Mercury, remarkable psychic powers entailing criticism and ridicule but eventual prominence.

Beihe, the North River, is the “Gateway of Heaven” and governs passes, bridges and water. It portends distant peoples rebelling, blocked travel routes and overflowing waters. If the moon passes between the Rivers moving southwest, war and drought ensue. With Mercury, hostile forces rise abroad, and frontier officials hatch plots.

Between The Twins

Even though the July 2026 New Moon is in the Sign of Cancer, it is in the Constellation of Gemini because of the precession of the equinoxes. The New Moon July 2026 astrology is influenced by the Gemini Constellation, not the Cancer Sign. This New Moon sits right between the two Gemini Twins:

New Moon July 2026 Spiritual Meaning

There are many indicators of conflict, especially war, in the fixed stars and asterisms that align with planets in the July 14 New Moon. The most striking is Mars conjunct Aldebaran, which signifies “a major battle.” The exact alignment is on July 13 at 0:54 am. Interestingly, Mars aligns with fixed star Ain, “minor warfare,” on July 11 at 3:27 am.

Several asterisms also govern “passes and bridges.” This maintains the focus of military conflict on the Strait of Hormuz, but also, perhaps, on other critical gateways, such as the Kerch Strait Bridge.

Most conflicts can be traced back to the fight between the first brothers. The original conflict has evolved to include ideology, politics, religion and race, but the core theme remains sibling rivalry. Current manifestations include the extreme polarization in US politics and the escalating wars in Europe and the Middle East.

The July 14 New Moon between the Gemini Twins signals an almighty showdown between brothers that has been escalating for millennia.

The Magic Triangle

Uranus trine Pluto indicates evolutionary change and radical transformation. Neptune at the midpoint of Uranus trine Pluto focuses this on your hopes and dreams for the future, making you more spiritual, hopeful and idealistic.

Uranus trine Pluto also brings radical social, economic, and political change. The last series of trines in 1921-22 saw escalating geopolitical tensions and the rise of extreme politics like communism and fascism that led to war.

Neptune retrograde 2026, at the focal point of the Minor Grand Trine, creates fears and anxieties due to increased instability and volatility, prompting a reassessment or revision of our hopes and dreams for the future.

Jupiter opposite Pluto amplifies the extremely tight alignment between Uranus, Neptune and Pluto and the influence of the New Moon July 2026 astrology generally. It brings the risk of rising volatility in financial markets and geopolitics that could see the AI bubble bursting, significant falls on share markets, civil unrest and a major war involving an attack on a nuclear facility or the use of a nuclear weapon.

Moon Phases

The influence of the July 14 New Moon lasts four weeks up to the August 12 Solar Eclipse. The best time for starting new projects is during the two-week waxing moon phase from July 14 to the July 29 Full Moon.

This is the final New Moon of the current eclipse cycle. So the issues the previous eclipses raised are increasingly being resolved as this eclipse cycle nears its end.

It is time to reflect on how those eclipses have impacted you and to complete any projects you started, allowing you to draw a line under them and be ready for the upcoming eclipses with a clean slate.

If the New Moon July 2026 astrology directly impacts your horoscope, you can read about it in your July horoscope. For more details about how it affects your natal chart, see new moon transits.

Uranus at the bending of the Nodes

Uranus at the bending of the Nodes

By Lauren Howard Coleman

Post on May 27, 2026

Source

On June 12th Uranus will perfect a square with the True Nodes of the Moon. When planets are square the Nodes, we say that they are at the bending of the Nodes. There is a North Node bending and a South Node bending. Uranus in Gemini is now at the North Node bending. It is closely squaring these Nodes for all of May and until July, however its influence is far longer than that.

This is because the Nodes of the Moon mark the degrees where the eclipses are most likely to occur, as this is where the apparent path of the Moon intersects with the path of the Sun. And when a New Moon or a Full Moon occur at these points an eclipse will occur of either the Sun (New Moon) or the Moon (Full Moon). On February 17th there was a Solar Eclipse at 29 Aquarius that was closely square Uranus in Taurus. On August 28th there will be a Lunar Eclipse at 5 Pisces also square Uranus. And again on February 20th 2027, a Lunar Eclipse at 2 Virgo will square Uranus again…. indicating a whole period of rapid and accelerated changes and twists. It will be all we can do to keep up.

Planets at these points can feel like a demarcation, a liminal time between, where we are still holding on to elements from the past, while looking forward to the possibilities contained within the North Node. When planets are at the South Node bending there is an inclination to cling more tightly to old habits, even as they are receding from our grasp. When planets are at the North Node bending, such as Uranus is now, all that chaos, that unpredictable change, as crazy as it may seem, is said to be in service to the North Node, which is trying to show us a way forward.

The Nodes of the Moon, and where they are now, have to do with our collective evolutionary growth. Uranus can be illuminating. Sudden in its effects, and often surprising, perhaps even shocking. It upends the status quo. And it seems to be asking us both collectively and personally: What are you still holding on to, but no longer need, and may in fact be holding you back?

In the parable of the raft, when confronted with a raging river, if there is no other way to get to the other side, it makes sense to build a raft of whatever elements and bits, pieces and resources are at your disposal. Tied together they created a raft which allowed you to reach the safety of the farther shore. But then what do you do with the raft once you have arrived? Do you continue to carry it with you on your back, even though it is difficult to do so? Or do you leave it at the shore?

Squares create tension. Last week Mercury joined Uranus, where both were squaring the Nodes. This week on  Monday, the Sun will do the same. All in Gemini, and in service to the North Node in Pisces, Uranus along with Mercury and the Sun are pushing us out of our usual comfort zones, perhaps into new and untried territory, for the sake of our own growth.

When major planets such as Uranus come to the bendings of the Nodal Eclipse points, it feels like we are between two points in our lives. Two worlds. Illuminating and sometimes surprising, the Sun and Mercury joining Uranus here can make this more personal. We share information with one another, we disclose truths, and learn things from others that we had not previously known. It shifts our perceptions, and can serve as turning points in our lives. And as a result of what we see, know and learn, our lives will not be quite the same again.

And as Uranus wends its way through our lives, moving things about, there is another important square occurring this week. And that is the square between Mars, which recently entered the sign of Taurus, and Pluto in the early degrees of Aquarius. These are both squares of stress and evolutionary change.

Taurus maintains the status quo thru various coping mechanisms that serve to keep us stable, safe, and secure. Mars/Pluto does not feel particularly safe. There are marauders at the gates; wolves howling at the door; and demons taking residence beneath the floorboards. Mars in Taurus seeks refuge in those things that feel safe and protected, and  familiar. It shores up the ramparts; secures the foundations; and protects the innocents. It does so with strength, resistance and sheer stubbornness. Mars in Taurus will not budge even when the powers that be try to force the doors open and jimmy the locks.

Pluto tells us that:The marauders at the gates are actually the clarion call of the change whose time has come. The wolves howling at the door are reminding us that there is a whole world of opportunity waiting for us, if we are willing to leave the raft we are clinging to, at the shore. And the demons beneath the floor boards are letting you know that you have outgrown your current circumstances, which will no longer support the person you are or are becoming. We all get a little stuck here and there. But the stress between these two planets can show us where we are stuck, and what is no longer sustainable. It can be harsh.

Uranus and Pluto’s jobs are to show us what we have outgrown, what is no longer supporting us, and could even be holding us back. Mars reacts to the forceful nature of Pluto by wanting to protect all that he holds near and dear to his heart. Some will identify with the Mars angle, while others will side with Pluto. Most of us will feel conflicted between the two.

We might want to ask ourselves, therefore, what we are trying to hold on to? And why we are holding so firmly? Is it out of habit? Or is it out of fear of the unknown? What needs to give way in order to create healthier and more sustainable foundations in our lives? And what are the things we know we are not willing to part with and do without?

The North Node in Jupiter’s sign of Pisces, is trine by sign to Jupiter in Cancer. There is something spiritually fulfilling and emotionally drenching as these water signs meld, grow and expand our awareness. An awareness that there is something much much greater than just ourselves. Pisces connects us to the collective, and so our own destiny becomes a piece in the destiny of the whole. And so through the gates of the current eclipses we are all being asked to transcend our usual boundaries and limitations, in order to merge with the great beyond.

With this also comes an awareness that we are all swimming in this great ocean that we call Life. And we are not alone. There are others here with us, And together we are being led to fulfill a destiny that is much much larger than us. And the part that each of us plays will be found in that still small voice of spirit, conscience, and unity implied by the North Node in transcendent Pisces.

Our homework for the next several months therefore continues to be:

  • Do things that will align you with your own drop of the ocean: Meditate, Pray, read something spiritual, or poetic. Listen to something beautiful. Take long walks in nature, or near the water. Seek solace in sacred spaces.

  • Connect with yourself: Reflect, journal, read the cards, consult the I Ching, dust off the pendulum and the oracles.

  • Cultivate Pisces virtues: commit random act of kindness and compassion; stop to listen; be present for others. Volunteer your time or resources for a worthwhile cause.

  • Let go: of those things that are needing to go; Release. Forgive. Shake off regret, anger, dismay and sorrow. Doing this good work will make room for better things to come in the future.

  • Slow down: Pay attention, See, Hear, Feel, Be present in order to honor and fully appreciate each moment.

New Moon Reset

Daily Inspiration

By Kate Spreckley

April 17, 2026

Today, is defined by a massive New Moon and a rare celestial cluster of 7 planets in Aries, making it one of the most powerful collective and individual resets of our life time. This concentrated fire energy brings an urgency and sudden, undeniable feeling that staying stuck is no longer an option. The energy is raw and visceral and we can expect truth to become explosive and unavoidable as old patterns and cycles and fear or avoidance are burned away.

Unlike a normal New Moon, this one initiates a massive generational cycle expected to unfold over the next 29 years.  There is a collective push to heal deep-seated wounds and redefine what it means to be brave.  We are not just being asked to dream a new life, we are being called to build the structural foundations for it.  With all planets moving direct, there is no cosmic friction holding us back.  The universe has cleared the way, and the heavy stagnation of the past is finally breaking to unleash unstoppable momentum.

Be mindful that this energy is guided by visionary clarity and you may feel a strong and restless drive to choose yourself and to start something new.  While the urge to act is undeniable, ensure that your movement is intentional.  This is energy is most transformative when you lead with courage rather than just reacting to the pressure.Pay attention to the flashes of insight or sudden clarity that arrives as they are blueprints for the next 3 decades.

If you are not feeling this momentum and you continue to feel heavy or stuck, this is a signal that old wounds and outdated patterns are still holding you in place. If the path ahead isn’t clear, it is time to do the deep work of clearing it.  Remember that true change requires you to face any internal resistance and do the vital work of healing.  Only by consciously and intentionally releasing what no longer serves you can you step into the unstoppable momentum the universe is offering.

Much love

New Moon

New Moon

By Kate Spreckley

March 18, 2026

Today’s energy is defined by a powerful New Moon that will act as a major emotional and spiritual reset. As the final New Moon of the zodiac cycle, it brings a potent frequency of rebirth and fresh starts. As old chapters close, we are urged to surrender and release all that no longer serves us to make room for the new cycle that begins in two days.

This New Moon brings a deliberate depth allows your system to be upgraded. Emotions may feel amplified and significant, and your thoughts foggy and hard to articulate as the energy takes you deep into your inner world where new beliefs, new ways of thinking, and a clearer sense of what you came here to be and do can begin to unfold. While your mind may feel clouded, your heart is expanding, allowing you greater access to the intuitive and emotional wisdom you have gained in recent weeks. It is this wisdom that will enable you to trust in a direction you cannot yet see clearly.

Be mindful that stepping into a new version of yourself requires a quiet, steady courage. It can feel daunting to trust a vision that hasn’t yet fully materialized, but the alternative is staying anchored to the patterns you have already outgrown. Let these New Moon energies support what needs to be surrendered, and trust that you are ready for what comes next.

Have Patience with Your Transformation

Have Patience with Your Transformation

By Kate Spreckley

March 16, 2026

We are currently moving through the final days of the astrological new year where the old is being cleared to make way for the new astrological cycle. We also have a New Moon tomorrow which brings to an end the Eclipse season that began in February. As a result, we will have a deeper sense of what is ending and what is closing out. While the New Moon brings completion to one aspect, the final closure will come with the Equinox on the 20th.

Eclipse seasons are notoriously dramatic and often trigger a period of major change as the incoming energies accelerate awakening, healing and growth. As we stand on the threshold of the New Moon what has been shaken loose begins to settle into conscious realization. It is a moment of stillness that follows the storm allowing us to witness the landscape of our lives and decide what we are now finally ready to leave behind.

As you stand in the liminal space between the old and the new be mindful that your energetic field is more permeable than usual. The collective nervous system is feeling overly stimulated and you may feel exhausted, drained and more sensitive and emotional than usual as your system releases what it has been holding. In this heightened state, everything may feel louder and more poignant. You may find yourself grieving what you thought you’d already moved past, or feeling a strange sense of nostalgia for the version of yourself that no longer exists. Let it all move through you and have patience with your own transformation.

Much love

Personal Period of Transformation

Personal Period of Transformation

Daily Inspiration

By Kate Spreckley

January 19, 2026

January is always a transitional month were we are reorientated and quickly acclimatized to the new year’s energy while also releasing the vestiges of the previous years energy. 2026 is a year that calls for freedom, momentum, and movement but only when it is guided by clarity and purpose. We are being encouraged to be the pioneer of our life and to move from observation and into action. The energy is fast moving and without clear and purposeful direction the rapid momentum can lead to chaos, burnout, or wasted effort. As such, we are urged to intuitively clarify our direction before accelerating ahead, and listen to what we need to manage ourselves moving forward.

In the first half of January we have been navigating an immensely clarifying energy which is helping us to see what still stands in our way and also what we are being guided to build. The momentum this generated continues as we move into the last two weeks of the month with the energy from yesterday’s New Moon accentuating endings and bringing us to the final stages of completing and releasing an old version of ourselves. We have the opportunity now to permanently resolve life-long patterns, and actively complete what is to be left behind so that we can propel ourselves forward in a whole new direction.

This week marks a major turning point where our entire personal operating system is being upgraded. Whatever is revealed has the potential to totally transform your core identity. Be mindful that you are entering into a profound spiritual and personal period of transformation which will actively reshape and renew you at a fundamental level. This energy is a dynamic, flowing force that will move through you to dismantle old patterns allowing for a new, more evolved version of yourself to emerge. It will shift you from reactive survival to proactive authorship of your life where you realize that life happens through you based on your choices and interpretations. It will be intense but also incredibly liberating.

First New Moon of 2026

First New Moon of 2026

Daily Inspiration

By Kate Spreckley

January 15, 2026

We stand on the threshold of what will be, where a chapter of life has ended and a new one has yet to fully take form. This space can be disorientating as previous identities, routines, or roles no longer apply, leaving us without a clear map for the future. While uncomfortable this space is where transformation occurs and where unforeseen possibilities can emerge. The weight of uncertainty can reopen old wounds and any past grief that was never fully processed. As a result, feelings of sadness or even despair may arise. Despite these feelings we are being called to take a leap of faith and trust our path even in the face of extraordinary uncertainty.

On Sunday we encounter the first New Moon of 2026 which will present us with another opportunity to shed the past. It may come as a reckoning where what has been lurking beneath the surface can no longer be ignored or denied while at the same time, giving us the motivation we need to address what needs attention so we can move forward unencumbered by what has been. We may be confronted by our inner shadows which must be acknowledged and accepted for integration and real release to occur.

The weekend brings a potent window for personal redirection which is cratering a natural recalibration after the initial intensity of this month. There are several planetary alignments which are currently amplifying your ability to address what isn’t working and make clear and decisive shifts. As you move into the weekend acknowledge that the unknown can be scary only because it is unfamiliar, not because you are incapable of navigating it. Recognize that true courage is not the absence of fear, but the determination to act in spite of it.

Remember that progress does not always require huge changes. More often than not it is the accumulation of small, deliberate choices that eventually lead to the healing and the transformation that is required. Choose to trust your path and consciously reclaim your power from fear by intentionally shifting your mindset from survival, which is governed by fear, to one of growth which is governed by the inherent knowing that everything always unfolds as it should. Allow yourself to fully believe that you have the internal resources to handle whatever your journey brings.

Much love

New Moon & Solstice

New Moon & Solstice

Daily Inspiration

By Kate Spreckley

December 19, 2025

This weekend we have the last New Moon of the year and the Solstice which brings us to a profound intersection of personal, spiritual and collective transformation. The convergence of the year’s last New Moon and the Solstice creates a potent gateway for deep, foundational transformation. Their combined energy amplifies the natural cycles of release and new beginnings, creating tension between letting go of the past and embracing the future. This intense energy will act as a catalyst, bringing deeply buried or unprocessed emotions to the surface pushing us to confront them in order to evolve beyond our previous limitations.

Growth and freedom rarely occur within familiar, comfortable situations. Take time to acknowledge your growth and see how past challenges have shaped your current self and perspective. Recgonise too that the inner shifts you have experienced are allowing you to now approach life with greater wisdom and clarity. Continue the work of identifying what needs to be released while strengthening your faith in the unfolding of your journey.

Be mindful that we are in a phase of closure and completion which does require a letting go of the old before we can move into the new. Holding on to past hurts, regrets, or attachments takes up valuable emotional and mental space, space that is needed for new experiences. Be willing to embrace discomfort remembering that when you are willing to let go of what is comfortable freedom ensues.

Much love
