In our rush-obsessed world, waiting feels like wasted time. Discover how to transform frustrating delays into moments of presence, surrender, and unexpected peace.
We live in a world that is obsessed with speed. We worship efficiency. We want our internet to be instant, our coffee to be ready the moment we arise, and our commute to be free of obstacles. In this hyper-efficient mindset, “waiting” is seen as a failure. It feels like a glitch in the system. When we are stuck in a line or halted in traffic, we treat those minutes as “dead time”: empty, useless moments that we need to rush through to get back to our real life.
Living as I do in Jammu and Kashmir, a territory in northern India, waiting is not just an occasional annoyance; it is a daily discipline. Whether it is standing in a long, winding queue at a government office to get a document stamped, or sitting in gridlocked traffic in the heat of the afternoon, delay is inevitable.
For a long time, I fought this. I would tap my foot, check my watch every 30 seconds, and let a knot of frustration tighten in my chest. I felt that if I was not moving, I was losing.
But recently, I began to wonder: What if we have been looking at waiting all wrong? What if these moments are not dead time, but a sacred pause?
The Myth of Dead Time
The anxiety of waiting comes from a single belief: I should be somewhere else.
When I am standing in line at the bank, my body is there, but my mind is already at the office. When I am stuck in traffic, my hands are on the wheel, but my mind is already eating dinner at home. This split between where our body is and where our mind wants to be causes suffering. We wage a mental war against reality, and reality always wins.
I remember a specific afternoon at a local municipal office. The unairconditioned room was crowded and stifling in the Indian humidity, the ineffectual ceiling fan was clicking rhythmically, and the line had not moved for 20 minutes.
I watched the people around me. Most were scrolling frantically on their phones, desperate to distract themselves from boredom. Others looked angry, muttering about inefficiency. I felt the same anger rising in me. I wanted to scream, “Hurry up!”
But then, I decided to try something different. I put my phone away. I took a deep breath. I looked around the room—not with judgment, but with curiosity. I noticed the sunlight hitting the dusty floor. I saw the tired but kind eyes of the clerk behind the desk. I realized that this moment was not “dead.” I was breathing. I was alive. The world was continuing to spin. The only thing making it unbearable was my own resistance to it.
Entering the Liminal Space
There is a concept called liminal space. It comes from the Latin word for “threshold.” It is the space between “what was” and “what is next.” Waiting is the ultimate liminal space. It is a doorway.
When we are forced to wait, the Universe is essentially hitting the pause button on our busy lives. Instead of fighting it, we can choose to view it as a gift. It is a rare moment where there is absolutely nothing we can do. We cannot fix the traffic jam. We cannot make the line move faster. We are stripped of our control.
This lack of control is actually a perfect place to practice surrender.
When we surrender to the wait, we move from the anxiety of “getting there” to the richness of “being here.” We stop trying to manipulate time and start inhabiting it.
How to Practice the Sacred Pause
So how do we turn a frustrating delay into a spiritual practice? It starts with simple shifts in how we pay attention.
1. Drop the Story
When you are stuck, notice the story your mind starts telling. It usually sounds like, This is a waste of time. I am going to be late. Why is this happening to me? Simply notice these thoughts, then gently drop them. Return to the raw data of the moment: the sounds, the sights, the feeling of your feet on the ground.
2. Meditate at Red Lights
When the light turns red or traffic comes to a complete halt, do not reach for the radio or your phone. Use the red light as a signal to check in with your body. Are your shoulders up to your ears? Is your jaw clenched? Use the duration of the red light to consciously soften your body. Let the car be a container of stillness in the middle of the chaos.
3. Find the Humanity
In a queue, instead of viewing the people in front of you as obstacles blocking your path, try to see them as fellow humans. They are also waiting. They also have places to be. They also have worries and hopes. This shift from competition to compassion changes the entire energy of the experience.
The Destination Is Here
We spend so much of our lives rushing toward a destination—a better job, a bigger house, or just the end of the day. We treat the present moment as a bridge we must cross to get to the “good part.” But if we are always rushing, we miss the life that is happening right now.
Waiting teaches us that the destination is not somewhere else. The destination is here.
The next time you find yourself stuck behind a slow-moving truck or waiting for a website to load, try not to fight it. Do not curse the delay. Smile at it. Whisper a quiet thank you for the reminder to stop. Take a deep breath and settle into the sacred pause. You might find that the peace you were rushing to find was waiting for you in line all along.

3i/Atlas, defined as an interstellar object from beyond our galaxy was discovered just a few months ago. It has caused much confusion, concern and question marks in the heads of the scientists, astronomers, geophysicists etc as to its origin and make-up. It does not fit into any of their definitions and mathematical calculations, it acts differently and its energy compound is different to anything every witnessed.
I was extremely excited when I first heard about 3i/Atlas and of course tuned into to receive telepathic downloads and information about it. At first I didn´t get much specifics, because I was told that it is beyond our comprehension, alone the words and concepts that we use will not be able to truly describe the magnitude of this most powerful interstellar “object”. However during this first tuning in I immediate was profoundly touched by its energy signature, as its plasma was downloaded into my body I just felt like melting away and went into a trancelike state and extreme expansion. I accepted that I didn´t need to know…. but thru feeling the dispensation of light bestowed upon me… I could nothing but surrender and I felt an immense calm and stillness encompass me beyond time and space… and sort of sinked into a void of profound peace as well as an ecstatic joy and kundalini rush. I mentioned what I had experienced to one of my mentorees who was eager to receive this transmission and connect with 3i/Atlas.
The impact that it had on her as well as myself was massive. A radical shift in energy, a quantum shift of great magnitude which caused a profound shift and feeling of being untouchable of the external noise and chaos, and the collective anxiety that many sensitive and intuitive have felt. A shifting of the frequency band beyond the matrix bandwidth. Later the transmission was shared with two others who felt equally radical quantum shifts on multiple levels of their being and perception of reality and ability to navigate with and while being beyond the matrix in a brand new fashion.
What was further shared to me from tuning into the divine intellegence collective of 3i/Atlas was, that it has come into our galaxy as per divine decree to assist in the ascension to rattle up and break old structures and crack open our human heart to re-member, to rise as phoenixes and free ourself and raise our consciousness beyond the matrix and earth simulation construct. Which indeed is nothing but a hollowgram, that is so well made, that most of humanity have accepted it as their reality. Many want to believe they can go through life making choices that are in their own best interest but not in the best interest of the one their choice would take away from. In other words, never do anything that would adversely affect another. Make that your mantra this and each day. Make that the main objective in each thing you move to enact and do. If you gain personally while another person is diminished because of your choices, how can that be what is best to do? How does this make you feel? Do you recall hearing — Do unto others as you want others to do unto you?
Be Accountable
There’s a reason for that. It is that your choices will follow you from this life to the next one. Although you may believe one thing, what is will still be. You see, there is a degree of reckoning that must occur from what you do. Doing and being are significant things. Life, albeit, is significant. And you must be the steward of your actions. All of them. This understanding is fundamental and key.
What is self-accountability? Do you know? Always move to your heart and see how it feels to consider something that you question. If it is questioned, ask for inner guidance. Seek input from your Soul.
Here’s what the Elders share —
It is not choosing this or that over the other. It is merely an inner craving for more to be understood. To a degree, it is resuming the accountability that may have been abdicated earlier. It is knowing that you cannot surrender who you are and the intrinsic and innate desire to take responsibility for your choices and actions. Now Surrender
Now consider surrendering. Consider now what this one step might offer. Consider surrendering what is newly recognized that need not be.
What does it mean to surrender? And what does it mean to release beliefs that might prevent the means of surrender from occurring? Surrender is a big thing and something you might contemplate on as you seek all that might in this way be.
Blessings. We are Thymus. We are the collective of ascended masters.
We are in witness to so much that is happening there on Earth and with you all as individuals, and we are always delighted to see you growing through your experiences. You have these lives that you are living and that you often seek to gain control of through a variety of strategies and techniques. If you were to see yourself as the experiencer of your life and the creator of your experience of your life, how would that change your perception of reality? In other words, you often get the message from those like us that you create your reality, but then you also get the message that says, ‘You need to let go and surrender.’ And some of you might think that those two teachings contradict each other.
We just want you to know that your creation of your reality got started a long time ago. You created this life, and then you decided to experience this life that you are living, and you also get to change your experience of this life, which will then take you down different feeling paths within the life. There is so much that you can change, but then there is also so much that you must accept as being a part of the experience that you wanted when you were operating as your soul, as your complete self. Whenever someone indicates that they just cannot accept something, we realize that at some point that person will have to accept whatever it is they are in resistance to. The question then becomes, ‘How long are you going to struggle and resist before you finally do accept what you need to?’
And the answer varies from person to person, but those of you who are awake can recognize that one of the ways that you have of accepting something is by changing the way you are looking at it. One of the most helpful ways that you have of looking at something is to ask yourself how it serves you to have that particular experience in your life. Of course, as a soul, you want to have a variety of experiences, and not all of those experiences would be described as good experiences from the egoic perspective. And so, you are there to change your perspective and change yourself. And then yes, of course, you get to experience more of the life that you want to experience. Part of that comes also when you move beyond the egoic view and you think about how you can be in the flow with the collective that you are a part of.
The collective you are a part of was also something you chose to experience before you were born. So as much as you resist this part of it, or this group, or this person, they were all your choices, and it serves you so much more to accept them as they are and to change you, then to ask them to change because you are in resistance to them as they are. We know that those of you who are awake also have a desire to protect. You want to protect the innocent ones, the ones who cannot protect themselves. But again, if you change your perspective on that, and you see the bigger picture and the agreements that everyone has with everyone else, you realize that in fact no one is a victim.
Everyone is experiencing what they are experiencing by choice because everyone is the creator of their reality. Choose to shift your consciousness in little ways every day, and all of those little shifts will amount to a monumental shift in consciousness for you that will have the ripple effect that you want it to have on the rest of the collective. And then you will see how it is possible to live in peace and in harmony with all other beings in human form and in animal form on Earth. This is what you truly desire as a soul, and it is well within your reach if you are willing to make those little tweaks that we have suggested you make in this transmission.

I wanted to say that I don’t feel the same certainty I did several years ago about some events. I know I’m choosing to feel uncertain. It’s probably that I’m tired of waiting.
I do appreciate the monumental and complex nature of the task that presents itself to us – and even more so to the star civilizations that are shepherding us through this ascension.
My knowing tells me everything is on track and on target. There must therefore be something in me that’s refusing to be certain.
And almost immediately, the thought arises, from my Guiding Light I choose to think, that all of my learned behavior, all of my vasanas (core issues), resentments, regrets, guilt, etc., sit on top of it.
Holy mackerel! How am I going to get through this LaBrea tar pit?
I cannot get through it on my own. I have to wrap it up – in a sorrow bundle! – and send it back to the Mother for repurposing. The task is beyond me.
And it’s especially beyond me given the workload now and what responsibilities I’ll soon have, etc. Certifiably beyond me.

So what to do?
I invoke the universal laws of sacred purpose, intention, grace, and karmic dispensation, and the Divine Mother and Archangel Michael to take this bundle away from me and leave me in certain knowing.
I resolve later to visit the Lords of Karma and ask to be released from my remaining karma.
I know the answer is inside of me. And I know that the answer will turn out to be to release my own bundle once and for all. And that in turn will require total forgiveness.
Release it deeply. Truly release it. Not anything faked. I have to, at the very deepest level, let go of it all. And there will be no fooling myself. I know when holding is still there.
I know when my breath is constrained. I know when my chest is tight. I know when my gaze is deflected, mirrors my suspicion, etc. We’re too far along for me to be fooling myself.

I want to be free of the last remnants of holding.
When I say that, I don’t mean in the context of social interaction. That would be too much for me. My mission is difficult enough as it is, requiring a great deal of non-interrupted quiet time. I could not write – I know that now – if I interacted with numerous people.
So not first in social interaction.
It’ll have to be in the privacy of my room, here with you, from now till the Reval, at which point I can afford a few amenities.
If I want to make progress towards certain knowing, I need to accentuate my monkish tendencies for the moment, go inward, and let go.
To Know God is not an Easy Matter, Until One Becomes a Knower of One’s Self

Ibn Arabi: “To know God is not an easy matter, until one becomes a knower of one’s self.” (1)
Al-Ghazzali: “He who knows himself knows God.” (2)
The illusory, apparently-individuated entity known as the “Self” is like a Babushka doll.
Whatever its original form might have been, that’s the largest of the dolls. And we in Fourth Dimensionality are the smallest.
But, I believe, they’re nested inside of each other in a non-physical way which I couldn’t possibly describe or understand.
We’re out here in the cold and rain and the door into the locked warmth of the interior of the Babushka Doll has this sign over it: “The Heart.”
We want back in to the light and warmth. Who’s got the key to this door?
Well, of course, the Divine Mother does. And, along with her, our archangel does, and our Higher Self, all agents of the Mother’s Will. (3)
We look back and we see that we approached the door by Awareness Avenue. Others are beginning to congregate now, also wet and cold, some coming from Service Avenue; others from down Wisdom Street. All wanting in at the door.

Let me spin the metaphor a little longer.
I can only talk about Awareness Avenue.
We cannot become a knower of God until we become a knower of the self. It could not possibly be that God is everything and not us. Since everything is God, if we know ourselves as deeply as is possible, weshouldeventually know God. God is the residuum, the default, behind all appearances.
Moreover, we now know that things are provided for us along the way, to make things easier or speed our journey. Channeled messages, spiritual experiences, mentors, books falling off shelves, suggestions whispered in our ears. (4)
We’re not being asked to do something exotic – climb a mountain or cross a river. We’re asked to know, most deeply, the very thing we carry around with us night and day and use for everything – our very own self.
Example: Since our feelings don’t last, they cannot be what we’re looking for (God). But our divine states don’t flee as quickly. They bear looking into as a stairstep to God.
And, yes, at some point we have to stop looking. It’s only brush-clearing. If we keep on past its point of usefulness, we busy the very thing we’re looking for: The “I” that’s looking is the “I” we’re looking for!
Crazy-making!

If something is not divine, or God, it will disappear when the truth of it is known. An upset will disappear when the truth of it is known. A headache or other pain may lift when its true message is known. (Maybe not. I’m not a doctor.)
The opposite is also true: I for instance am fond of using the phrase “a pain in the butt.” I now have a slipped lower disc which is causing … you got it … a pain in the butt. No accidents.
Or if you prefer the path of love to address an upset, love it and it will release its grip and gradually pass away: This too shall pass. Resist it and it will hold onto you forever: What we resist persists. (5)

Using the truth as our machete, we clear away the brush of our misconceptions, revealing the Truth that is and was already there. Well, that’s my preferred route, as a writer.
At Xenia, gazing upon the Self, I felt my own native purity and innocence (I can feel it now). We labor under the memory of countless lifetimes of errors and mistakes, which burden us like Morley’s chain. (6)
But free of that burden through, as Kathleen points out, the forgiveness of everything, we are as pure and innocent as her granddaughter Amelia.
Just here. Without a care in the world. Just love and curiosity.
Can you imagine that that’s you? Because, deep down, it is.
Raising the ways of the self to awareness causes them to lift, if they’re held in place by anything other than love – such as jealousy, strategizing, fear, etc. Underneath them, we’re all just like Amelia.
Only love persists eternally. And that same love, in ways that are beyond my understanding, turns out to be the essence of who we are, now liberated from the endless desiring of the ephemeral self.

The State of Texas has declared war on the Washington DC slavers by closing the border and stopping the flow of children destined for torture and sacrifice. The Catholic Church Hierarchy in Latin America and Africa, where the vast majority of Catholics reside, has revolted against the rubber-masked fake KM puppet “Pope” Francis. Similar moves are being seen all over the world.
This is why the KM leadership gathering in Davos Switzerland this week says their theme is “Rebuilding Trust.” Translation: “How do we avoid being strung up from lampposts.”
What is happening is truly biblical in the literal sense of the word. That is because the world is removing from power an ancient cult of human slavers hiding behind monotheism.
