The Beloved: “It is truly wonderful, and appropriate, for you to be disenchanted with the progress in your spiritual life, and in the way you live your life. This is exactly what I desire for you to feel; for this will spur you on to continually seek Me. It means that you are alive and growing. However, please do not become discouraged, for, at first, all new growth can be difficult and painful, although this does not necessarily have to be so.

Mortal life is effort and struggle, yet nothing worthwhile can be gained without it. It trains the mortal to continually seek better ways, especially on this confused and backward planet, where everything seems tilted towards the materialism of the outer world. Rather, I would desire for equal time to be devoted to the growth of the inner spiritual world. Personal spiritual growth is the responsibility of each thinking individual.

Your planet is beset by, and labors under outward clamor and noise, which is empty of real value. In the inner life the true values of honesty, sincerity and integrity are to be cultivated and nurtured, along with the outward manifestation of clear understanding and soulful compassion, overshadowed by unconditional love towards self and all others.

This is the ideal life your Master Jesus exemplified when He lived on your planet. You may think that this sound like Utopia and impossible to achieve, but this, dear one, is what true evolution – creation in time and space is all about. For human, soul, and planet alike, the true destiny is a working towards perfection in light and life.

Your planet will surely experience light and life, even though she is going through a very difficult stage in her evolution. There are still too many mortals living upon her who do not respect her as a living breathing being, and who greatly dishonor her because of greed.

In the same manner, you are to honor your Spirit within by allowing yourself more time to come to Me, to truly listen to My still Voice, and to pay heed to My efforts to guide you. I shall endeavor to lead you in the right direction, one that allows you to achieve a harmonious balance between the inner and the outer world.

Both worlds need your attention, as the benefits you reap are increased physical health and mental and emotional stability, when you put Spirit in charge of your life.”

Spirit Within: “When I fuse with you, then you and I shall have become a new being. That is the reason why you will then receive a new name. The result of that fusion is neither that your old being will be improved, nor that I will thereby be diminished. It will herald the emergence of the nature of a potential finaliter. It is the consummation of my mission to become a person with you, and of your climb in a process to become divine. Our fusion will be so complete, yes so utterly replete, that even when this new person will be scrutinized by the most capable of universe authorities, he will display only one personality.

“The new being we will become will embody both divinity and humanity, but that being will still be you also, since your history will not be lost by that new being. Only your nature will have become divine. Today, inhabiting you as a God-spark, quite apart, I represent the will of the Father. After fusion, I will have become the will of the Father in you. Following fusion, the new person will be able to, as we progress in our ascending career, and through progressive insights, draw from all my past knowledge and experience events right back to the moment of my fragmenting from the Creator Father. And so, you will have in you the potential to become greatly spiritized to the fringe status of an absonite being.

“Now, my child, you asked me if it is possible for me to fuse with you even in this life. Yes, it is! Some faith children of God have fused with their Adjusters in their human life, as you know. However, each particular fusion is a case of completion, as well as an opportunity. Your undertakings, which are intertwined with other people’s endeavors, and certain fortuitous life events to come, which are practically beyond human control, determine fusion feasibility. If there is opportunity, and you allow me to guide you through the plan I have formulated for your spiritual progress, even in this life, fusion could occur here.

“However, in reality it is not so important that fusion happens in this life. Your early mansonia life is the much better environment to expedite and finalize our fusion than is this current life of yours. I am not rushing it, and neither should you. Just keep following my lead, and trust in the love of the Father all your days, and the right pieces will eventually fall into place. Do not worry, my child, I know what I am doing, and I am doing it to perfection, although your perception of what I do is not perfect. Rest assured, I will not fail you. Be sure, you too, do not fail me.”

Giving Ourselves the Respect and Love We Deserve

My dear friends, we love you so very much,

Your world is going through a lot of turbulence right now and will be for a while, but it is for a good reason. You are all finding your hearts! You are finding your voice. You are starting to understand that you have a unique place and perspective in this world and a right to it. No longer are you willing to pretend things are ok with you if they’re not. No longer are you willing to put your desires on the back burner. You are no longer trying to agree with everyone, please everyone, or be all things to everyone.

Dear ones, the spirit within you is awakening!

As with many awakenings, this one is causing some upset and a lot of turbulence in human hearts. As you surrender to who you are, what you want to do, and how you see life, you naturally desire to find others of like mind. There is also a very human desire to want others to agree, to “get you,” to “honor your boundaries,” and to “respect” you. These gifts of the soul are fantastic when given freely, but trying to make others get you, honor your boundaries, or respect you is exhausting.

What is important is that you “get you,” that you “honor your boundaries,” and that you “respect” yourself.

You “get yourself” by acknowledging that you are an embodiment of the creator’s love in human form. You are perfect as you are, even as you expand into more. You have a loving heart, a kind soul, and a desire to love and be loved that lies within and beneath all your thoughts, words, and deeds. Even when angry, you cry for the love you don’t think you can have.

What matters most is not what others think of you or how they treat you, but rather how you feel about yourself and how you treat yourself.

Do you “get” you? Do you get the powerful creator you are? Do you get that you seek to see love, be love, and experience love within all things you say and do? Dear ones, if you “get” your innocence as a human being and you get your magnificent creative nature, then the words, ideas, or opinions of others will not matter to you. No one can sway you from who you know yourself to be. When you get you, others can no longer trigger you into defensiveness or anger.

Strive to remind yourself daily. “In all things, I seek love. In all things, I want to be loving. I have an innocent heart. I’m always doing my best, and that is good enough!

Rather than waiting for others to treat you kindly, you can choose to define and honor your own boundaries. Take time to examine your own heart. What are your limits? How will you act, and what will you do if someone does not honor them? For example, you all want people to speak to you kindly. Not everyone will. You can’t make everyone keep this boundary, but you can decide how you will react. Perhaps after the first unkindness, you can say, “Ow, that hurt,” and walk away. After the second, you can say, “You know what? I care about your feelings, but I promised myself I would only engage in kind discussions. You are upset. Let’s speak later.” If the person persists in their unkindness, you may choose to walk away or withdraw your energy from the conversation.

Only you can decide how to honor your boundaries. You don’t even have to explain them to others, justify them, or get anyone to comply. You simply have to have a “game plan” to honor your bright spirit when others can’t or don’t.

Likewise, insisting that others respect you or your beliefs is exhausting. Some people don’t respect themselves enough to understand how to demonstrate respect to others. Of course, you want others to see you as worthy of love and acknowledgment. Nonetheless, as you already know, some will and some won’t. If you can make peace with this, you can avoid feeling anguish when you encounter individuals who can’t or won’t respect your beautifuliful soul.

Decide that you respect yourself. Respect your own thoughts so much that you have no need to argue or defend them. Respect your bodies so much that you treat them well and kindly. Respect your spirit so much that you decide to think the thoughts that elevate you no matter who or what is around you. Stop demanding respect of others and simple respect yourselves.

What you want, more deeply than anything, is to experience yourself the way the Divine within you does—precious, perfect, unique, expanding, growing, perfect…

By granting yourselves the things that most human beings crave, you give yourself permission to be who you truly are. You grant yourself the right to “be” you. You stop requiring the behavior of others to conform to your standards and set yourselves free.

Interestingly enough, the more you get yourself, the more you honor your boundaries, and the more you respect yourself, the more you will easily attract more and more others who will do the same.

The Spirit Within: “I have not stopped working with you, or within you. Working with you is my all-important mission, and it brings me the greatest of expectations: My becoming one with you. I have worked with you to perfection, but your perception and understanding of such spiritual work is still far from perfect. My work with you is not at all intended to make your earthly life easier. Rather, my work is to make your life real and effective for you to accomplish our ultimate goal: To stand before the Father of all, as you repeatedly have announced this to be the ultimate desire of your existence.

“I have not forgotten any of your spiritual prayers, even those you have already forgotten – I have not. Some of these prayers have already been answered, others are in the process of being answered, and a few of them are still to receive the proper answer. Do not get discouraged. I have not forgotten anything about you.

“I will give you more visions and visualization of your future life on the Mansion Worlds. These visions will even more cause for you to desire to depart from Urantia, but be patient for now, as I will utilize every minute of your time here to prepare you for the life awaiting you up there. You are not afraid, I know; you are anxious, I see. However, you have unfinished issues to deal with; concentrate on them, so we can move forward with my plan for your life.

“I miss nothing; at no time do I fail, and I remember everything. You, on other hand, are a work in progress. Cooperate with me: Less thinking, more action; give more substance to your beliefs, and act upon them, so you will progress even more. I am not harping on the subject when I say it again: I love you, my child, and you have my undivided devotion. Work with me because my promise to you always remains: ‘I will take you there’.”

Midwayer Thomas: “Communication with your Spirit Within is not an easy accomplishment. Urantians are rather dominated by the material energies — rather than the spiritual ones — due the incomplete upstepping of the first and second bestowals. Besides, the spiritual consciousness on your planet is still very low, although improved after Christ Michael’s Bestowal and the ample distribution of the Spirit of Truth and the Adjusters. Superior spiritual attunement is not only necessary for the satisfactory reception of your Adjuster’s leading as well as the putting in place of those conditions that may make possible the spiritual fusion with Him, even here on Urantia. Upon your request, I will mention three elements that can contribute to reaching this desirable readiness.”

1) Real Purity

“The main obstacle to attaining that communion with your Adjuster is the lack of spiritual commonness as the basis for a good communication. Your Spirit Within’s essence is a pure spirit from the highest quality (Father’s) that may be found in all universes. Your spirituality comes from His ministration to your soul (your morontia self) and from the steadfast determination of your Human Self doing the will of the Father. If your determination in doing the will of the Father is not dominant over your Self, your soul will not mature enough to receive and exercise spiritual control over your life. A spiritual craving for doing the will of God is the first and foremost requisite to actualize spiritual commonness with your Adjuster.”

2) Effective Stillness

“Stillness is that meditative state acquired by the effective subjugation of your thought activity. It helps you to control your thoughts activity by subduing them with spiritual focalization. You have several spiritual sources in and with you; therefore, stillness is your attempt to focus on these spiritual resources (especially the Adjuster) and receive from them spiritual nourishment. By constant practice, you may be able to experience not only that spiritual calmness but also open the spiritual channels that allow you to communicate with beings in extra-physical dimensions: midwayers, morontia teachers (even the spiritual ones), angels and other spirit beings. To some, stillness is easier than it is to others, due to practice as well as to better hereditary strains, that is, those from the Nodite Bestowal and from the Adamic Bestowal.”

3) Actual Implementation

“Consecration (resolve) to do the will of God is essential for a better communication with your Adjuster. But doing the will of God is not only a mental or psychological decision. When the Spirit Within conveys to you the realization of the will of the Father, you ought to do it — follow through. It’s terribly detrimental to your spiritual development to indulge yourself in good decisions and not follow them trough. Let your actions match the perfect leading of the Spirit Within. When this does not happen, the whole situation may become a grievous experience for your Adjuster, that is, to notice that His or Her efforts in spiritualizing you are not being taken seriously.

“Therefore my friend, here they are: three elements that will help you achieve better communication and communion with your Adjuster that lives within your mind. Interestingly, the Adjuster never stops communicating with you, always and ever sending out those leadings that portray to you the will of God. However, even His attempts to impress your consciousness through dreams and visions are most often distorted by your own thought interference. Stillness, supported by consecration and ready execution of the will of the Father will prove to be a better situation for you to realize and apply the spiritual leadings of your Spirit Within and, eventually, to obtain Adjuster attunement. I am your midwayer friend of long ago, Thomas, very happy to attend to your call.”
