Happy Mother's Day

Today we celebrated Mother's Day in the US and that isn't always a great day for everyone. For some of you, it recalls a lot of trauma and that can set you back in the healing work that you have done.
Plus we're at the end of a strong Mercury retrograde that brought up a lot of our karma and karmic issues. And as I always say, our mother is our strongest karmic partner.
No matter how you remember this day, and how you feel about it, we all have a mother who brought us into the world and on a spiritual level, it is the most significant relationship we have with anyone in our lives.
There is a huge spiritual contract involved in motherhood that we cannot judge on an emotional level -- and I speak to thousands of people every year, I know how bad and truly horrible some mother experiences can be, while others are wonderful.
This is a day to honor the miracle of life, the process through which we are brought into the world which is the first step in our lifetime. If your experience with your mother allowed you to commit to being a wonderful mother to your own children, then you achieved a powerful lesson and you can celebrate your victory.
Your mother is your most important, powerful, and significant karmic partner, However you feel about your childhood and your mother on Mother's Day, keep that in mind.
And by the same token, you are the most significant, important, and powerful karmic partner for your own children. The cycle of karma, redemption, and ascension spirals forward with each generation.
Some of you have lost your mother in the past year and this is your first Mother's Day without her. Others have been abandoned by their families and their children and today is a sad day for you.
Some of you grieve the mother you never had, and others find this day a mixture of anger, regret, and sorrow.
So celebrate yourself today, the warm, wonderful, amazing person that you are. No matter what happens with your family or children, no one can deny your motherhood and you deserve to celebrate this for yourself.
