Machiventa: “This is your Planetary Prince, Machiventa Melchizedek. It would be appropriate for you to be less involved in making things work and more reliant on letting things work, come about and fall into place. No intended criticism here, but remember you are not the only driving force behind 11:11 Progress; there is a large contingent of capable Midwayers and Angels.
 
“We think it an interresting question regarding the Correcting Time posed by someone belonging to a religious group (Sikh) that rarely ventures far beyond the boundaries of their beliefs. Together we will endeavor to do justice to the query.
 
“The Correcting Time is new, but it has long been foreshadowed. Some absolute rules of your planetary isolation, because of the Caligastia betrayal, were often overlooked at critical times as when Holy Men and Prophets turned whole populations to God. Greatly experienced Thought Adjusters prompted these citizens to once again hear the Voice of Spirit, the Song of Love and the call to Paradise.
 
George: “Well, you did visit as well in Abraham’s time. Glory to the One now called the Damascus Scribe.”
 
Machiventa: “Indeed. One might say, just in time and with great help. For ages and ages however, all those on this planet were Agondonters — those who believed in spirit without ever experiencing anything out of the ordinary. Slowly on, this proportion of Agondonters in relation to the remainder of the (human) population will become less or be somewhat less of an Agondonter to a degree.
 
“The message from your friend from Pocatello, you will understand, is something that in a small way shines a still faint but recognizable light on the slow evolutionary progress of this world and its new Correcting Time lines of communication in action.
 
“Whilst your (Sikh) friend has shown an interest in what you do, in what you believe and in what you all promote, he can take your experience in his stride, accept that things happen beyond what his Holy Book specifies and be happy to adhere to its rules, laws and sermons. As long ago you were instructed: place the people at the starting gates to spirituality and let them run their own race.

Bzutu: “We are Urantia Midwayers, known for our ‘humanness,’ our sense of humor and our willingness to drop everthing and call on our mortal students . . . and on occasions play our tricks on them. This is ABC-22, Bzutu for short and I’m here today to point out that my friend here has long been in possession of a certain truth, a logical and inescapable truth . . . well, yes. However, until just a few days ago he did not realize the true and accurate meaning of what he knew so well. And so I just now encouraged him to let me make the point.

“We need to go back in time almost 70 years when a primary school teacher declared that, as humans, ‘you are all born in sin and live in sin your entire life. You are sinners!’ Should I now suggest that what is good for any human is good for all Midwayers, too? At the time my young friend disagreed wholeheartedly and rather loudly with the claim that anyone could be born a sinner, because babies were new, they were pure and unblemished. Rather soon some small town clergy got into the act and as a result the youngster began drifting away from his church. There simply was no logic left in the minds of those who attended a Catholic seminary, he thought, and then he told them so. It does take courage to talk down to grown-ups when you are only a little over 4 feet tall. He became rather unpopular with some.

“Not with us he wasn’t. Those who could clearly foresee so much of the future were already teaching him from a young age — our Dr. Mendoza more often than anyone. But then, just a few days ago, as I already said, he arrived at a sudden conclusion and could see the use of, the need for, yes indeed, the absolute necessity for the lowest of His thinking creatures to be required to dwell in space-time’s want, neediness, hardship even destitution — for them to live with this, rise above it, eventually perfect themselves in time and in this way become His most reliable and trustworthy Spiritual Warriors.

“Former humans, who have come through planetary life and lengthy morontia realities, simply don’t go astray. They are hardened by the tough lives they have led and unlike some higher echalon citizens, they will not falter at their tasks of governing future deep space planetary systems, even new universes. It is all seen so clearly now — the concept shone, it glowed, seemed truer than true — he was now living in a sinfull environment that would harden his resolve as he aimed for the closest thing to perfection in this planetary life and in the follow-up morontia lives of the future, getting ever closer to more advanced rules, mores and ethics on the way.

“Paradise would finally teach those of the earths — Midwayer and human alike — how to run ‘the business of planetary obligations’ fairly, consistently and empathetically. But Paradise in all eternity could not offer what bootcamp Urantia drums into its recruits in a relatively short lifetime on the planet and during their Mansion World lives.

“Take care, Brother.”

George: “We greet you. Would that I become half as reliable as you are … And no, since they are my oldest Celestial Friends, the Midwayers always will come first.”

Onamonolonton: “Rightfully so, my dear friend. The strong bond we have with those of our earthly sojourn always remains strong, and it becomes stronger the further we proceed in our Paradise quest, the more we ‘dislodge’ our lower tendencies, and the deeper we feel and pass on to others the indescribable love of the Creator. This is Onamonolonton, a Celestial Advisor, let us say, well acquainted with the sea-faring Andite, Ionah, and the great work he and his crews wrought in the Americas together with your (1,111) friends.

“It is so very easy for me to look back upon my mortal life on our planet Urantia, much harder for you to look forward and perceive what is to come. Although I led a busy, almost intense and at times extreme life, I would later become aware of missed opportunities, when a few thoughtful words would have provided a ‘bonus addition’ to my ever greater circle of friends. Such is the art of being an essential in your family, in your work group, in your community and in your nation. Such short lives you lead. Do make the best of it.

“Consider now, are you a human essential? I was, almost exclusively focussed on reminding my people of the wisdom and generosity of the Great Spirit. I was His far-traveled emissary to the splintered nations and tribes, yes long ago, but even today it can be pointed out to me that good does still come, even now, from the efforts then extended by me. That is my reward; nothing else is required but this feeling of gratitude to have been allowed to serve the Creator of the tiny pebble in His mightiest river, the smallest flower in His endless forest.

“I lived for my people, it was my way, urged on by the Fragment of the Great Spirit that indwelt me, but never in my spirit visions did I perceive the wonderful rewards that awaited me on High. You too, all of you, can awaken yourselves to become ‘an essential’ in the lives of others, become the turning point for others, even one single individual to be the focus of your thoughtful words at some important, vital moment in his or her life for the positive repercussions to reverberate through all eternity. This will be your reward – the greatest prize.

“Difficult times are at the horizon once again on our blighted planet. Be an essential for those in need, and you shall look back with deserved pride.”
