What to Ask the Records
(and What Not To)

Hellow,
One of the most common questions I hear when I teach the Akashic Records is, “How do I know if this is the Records or just my mind?”
If you have ever wondered this about your intuition, know that you are not alone. :)
In the Akashic Records, guidance comes in with a very particular feeling. It is calm, loving, and spacious. It doesn’t seek to force, push, or prove anything. It simply is.
Our minds can be loud and insistent. The Divine is peaceful and steady.
Here are a few ways to recognize true guidance from the Akashic Records:
What Divine guidance feels like:·
A subtle sense of peace in your body (even if the message is stretching you gently)
Non-urgency: there is no push energy, no sense of alarm, just quiet clarity
Consistency over time: the message returns gently and lovingly, until it has been fully received
What the mind often feels like:
Fear or urgency: “Do it now” or “This is the only way”
Mental effort: logical or intellectual dialog, seeking to create a specific outcome
Stress in the body: a feeling of tension, breathing is shallow, there is constriction in the heart or throat
Try this 60-second practice today:
Place your hand on your heart. Breathe in and out. Ask, “Is this my mind? Is this based in love?”
Notice what your body tells you, not what your mind says. The body knows the truth before the mind.
Next, if you are initiated into the Akashic Records, say the prayer to open them now.
If you are not formally initiated into the Records, simply set your intention to connect with them.
Now ask, “What does Divine guidance feel like in my body?”
Listen for one sentence from the Record Keepers. Then give thanks and say the prayer to close the Records. You may also ask to consciously release the Records.
This simple practice will help you develop the ability to discern the Divine wisdom of the Akashic Records from the interpretations of your mind. Have fun this week as you refine your relationship with the Akashic Records.
