The Ascension Frequency

The Ascension Frequency

by Owen Waters

Posted on March 3, 2023

I wrote my latest book The New Enlightenment in late 2023 for two reasons. One is that I finally realized why spiritual service to others is such a powerful path to enlightenment – potentially ten times more powerful than passive meditation. I had been aware of the concept since the 1970s, but an understanding had finally dawned upon me as to the science of why and how this is the case.

Two, I recognized that the long-awaited quantum leap in human consciousness had begun its phase of rapid growth. The founder of the science behind the Spiral Dynamics stages of human consciousness, Professor Clare Graves, had predicted this transition, calling it, “a momentous leap.” He defined it as a leap that takes us over the gap from the First Tier of Subsistence Levels to the Second Tier’s Being levels.

After his passing, his students simplified the subject considerably for public consumption using color codes for each of the stages of growth in human consciousness. In my book, The New Enlightenment, I simplified the approach a little further by simply numbering the stages as 1-6 for the First Tier and 7-12 for the higher, Second Tier.

Stage 7, in terms of its chakra equivalent, is the upper stage of heart-centered consciousness. Stage 7 is active, not passive like Stage 6, as it applies unconditional love to the practicalities of life’s challenges. All the earlier stages of human development are included as learned lessons in the higher stages, so Stage 7’s active heart-centered consciousness also includes earlier lessons learned in Stages 1-6, developing courage, creativity, and community.

Stage 7 is also the level of active spiritual consciousness documented by David R. Hawkins in his detailed scale of human consciousness. He found that, while much of the world’s population struggles to maintain a level of consciousness sufficient for the long-term survival of the human race, active spiritual consciousness compensates for, and counterbalances, 750,000 people who are below the key survival level. Well, who would have know how powerful a regular, unassuming lightworker could be?

According to Hawkins’ work, if you simply pursue your spiritual development practices, then, just by being on the planet and doing what you love to do, you’re quite a miracle worker!

Stage 7 heart-powered consciousness can also be called the Ascension Frequency because it powers the upcoming global ascension from third density to fourth-density physicality. In retrospect, it has been obvious, since The Shift began in the 1960s, that humanity is being prepared for an upgrade on a cosmic scale. Everything we can do to help the world spiritually hastens the day that humanity will be ready for the big event of The Shift, ready for the day that “the earth shall rise in the heavens.”

In today’s early days of Stage 7 consciousness, we are just beginning to sense how it will manifest, so I was very glad to see a recent video by spiritual consciousness expert, Penny Kelly. She called the video, ‘The Dragon of Love,’ as she sees a great awakening of love just waiting to emerge from under a dense underbrush of fears, worries, and stubborn thinking.

Penny documented the nature of true, unconditional love in plain, understandable language and, like Spiral Dynamics, honors the previous phases of human development like courage, curiosity, and creativity.

She defines unconditional love as an honest response from the inner, core self.

She sees unconditional love as something that shines through when you drop all illusions, fears, and anger as those are obstacles to your ability to rise to the challenge of big changes in life.

The Love that is the one Source, she continues, is the source of all life, the core that is within all things. There are many ways that this love can emerge in helping you face today’s challenges, and here are some of her insightful definitions:

Love expressed as Support
Listening to others and encouraging them to pursue their visions or dreams. It is also the willingness to see a need and fill it, to see a hurt and heal it, to know a truth and hold it, and to nurture a vision and pursue it.

Love expressed as Allowance
Letting go of the past. Taking care of the self gently and allowing others the space to do the same. It also means having the strength to set new habits without having to reform others.

Love expressed as Patience
Nurturing those around you, again without forcing them to conform to your expectations.

Love expressed as Integrity
Having the determination to set things right by aligning them with ethics and morals that protect life in all its forms. We each have a moral compass called our inner being or sometimes just “the still, small voice within.”

Love expressed as Honesty
The willingness to be realistic, and to be honest about what we see, hear, think, and feel.

Love expressed as Grace
Having the grace to let yourself flow naturally through each day, to wish another well, and to wish yourself well.

Love expressed as Courage
Love is the courage to align yourself with inner truth and yet respect the choices and alignments of others. It can bring the excitement of the unknown when facing change and adopting a sense of being in charge rather than a sense of being a victim. If you are ever attacked, love is the willingness to stand in your integrity and, while being fully willing to defend yourself, refusing to over-engage more than is needed to make the attack stop.

Love expressed as Curiosity
The willingness to see possibilities and to go beyond limitation simply because of curiosity.

Love expressed as Creativity
Finding ways to improve things using the resources at hand in new or better ways.

Love expressed as Growth
Love brings the confidence to accept everything the world offers and use it to improve yourself. It is also the willingness to regularly be in the stillness with the wisdom of your inner Self to review your feelings about recent events in your life.

Finally, in The Dragon of Love, Penny reminds us that a return to love will set that dragon free, allowing us to become new humans and build a new world.

The Emerging New Enlightenment

The Emerging New Enlightenment

The long-awaited quantum leap in human consciousness has arrived and we have emerged into the light of a whole new era of inspiring cosmic energies.

The summer of 2023 was a major turning point in the evolution of humanity. The cosmic energies reaching Earth have taken a significant step higher. From here on, the energies available to us will be in a new and positive building mode despite the efforts of power-seeking warmongers to distract people from the new light. Because of this higher supply of cosmic energy, you can now count on one very significant fact...

Everything positive that you create now will unfold more easily.

The time has come to embrace the next stage of your unfoldment as a spiritual being. Once you finish leaving Old Reality thinking behind and become accustomed to functioning in higher heart-centered consciousness, you are ready to learn the secret to rapid spiritual development.

At first, this secret might seem like a paradox. Here it is: It isn't what you do to develop yourself that counts so much as what you do to help others. That is where the frequency of consciousness of the New Enlightenment starts. Spiritual service to others creates an immediate reflection from the ever-present mirror of life and causes you to advance automatically in a balanced and graceful manner.

The same principle applies to both physical and spiritual service. Physical prosperity comes as the reaction from physically serving others in better ways and spiritual development comes as the reaction from helping others in spiritual ways. Fortunately, with the knowledge and insights we now have available to us, spiritual service to humanity has never been easier.

The world cries out to be helped and healed in countless ways. Ignorance, conflict, needless suffering and strife are all symptoms of the remaining Old Reality consciousness. It is by spiritual teaching and healing that we help others and also raise the frequency of the global mind atmosphere.

Spiritual service goes beyond just receiving light and inspiration as a product of daily meditations. By giving those energies out as well, you cause a self-replenishing effect which builds up and results in you becoming evermore inspired.

With the emerging New Enlightenment, the issues that are important to people in this age of transition are ones like these:

"What can I do to ensure the well-being of myself and my loved ones?"

"What is life really all about?"

"How can I answer the spiritual yearning that I feel?"

The Timeline Split Has Just Happened

It isn't often that a new global timeline is created, one that affects everyone on the planet. Just days ago, such a split in timelines emerged. One path will cater for those who support aggression, such as intense competition and war. The other path will attract those who focus on cooperation, peace and healing.

Both timeline paths will be available to everyone for many months to come, but eventually they will isolate into different circumstances and go their separate ways. The higher timeline will support self-empowerment of a spiritual nature, where human rights like dignity and the freedom to choose become paramount.

Many of the institutional systems that have been interwoven with our lives will be reformed and upgraded from a heart-centered perspective. People will attune to the soul-whisperings of their inner moral compasses with the result that the corruption that is common today will be rooted out and the untrustworthy recognized and shunned.

As people take responsibility for themselves, new inventions will be created to respond to people's needs, producing a new era of prosperity and fulfillment.

With every shift to a higher reality, some degree of chaos is likely as new systems necessarily emerge to replace ones that face failure. As spiritual students, we can become the kind of sages and mentors that people will seek in their search for hope and meaning in the months ahead. A deep study of spiritual principles will make this possible - the kind of knowledge and insights contained in the book, Spiritual Metaphysics, or the clear understandings in The Lightworker Mission or The New Enlightenment.

The Nature of the New Enlightenment

The Nature of the New Enlightenment

By Owen Waters

There are twelve stages of development in human consciousness, divided into two tiers of six stages each.

In the summer of 2023, a long-awaited event occurred, a “momentous leap” predicted by pioneer social scientist, Professor Clare Graves (1914-1986). Enough people have now started using the second tier of consciousness to reach a tipping point that changed the world.

The first tier of six stages of consciousness develops intellectual skills and emotional contrast. The second tier changes the focus of personal growth to a spiritual context, expanding the vision of what can be achieved through reaching ever greater heights of human potential.

Basically, the second tier opens up the spiritual development of humanity. It is what Maslow defined in his Hierarchy of Human Needs as the ultimate goal of Transcendence.

In the second tier, we become less personally identified with the thoughts and emotions which pass through our awareness. We see emotions more as things that hold our attention, rather than as things that identify who we are. This opens up the doorway to the enjoyment of an unconditionally accepting view of life and of other people.

With the new, second tier of consciousness comes freedom from all of the fears of the prior stages, and, finally, the freedom for human cognition to focus upon its true possibilities in the world.

Because the shift to the second tier is the beginning of a spiritual orientation, it also opens the door to inspirational support from the superconscious mind. With this heart-powered consciousness comes inspiration from a deeper sense of inner connection, the emotional rewards of unconditional love, and a newfound sense of creativity.

A key difference between the two tiers of consciousness (each containing six stages) is that the basic tier (stages 1 through 6) is outer-focused, with the attention fixed on the five senses and the outside world, while the spiritual tier (stages 7 and up) is inner-focused. As you operate in the second tier, you continually add clarity to the superconscious insights that help you with every situation in your life.

While stage 6 is the beginning of heart-centered awareness, stage 7 is the development and activation of that awareness. Stage 6 is heart-aware and stage 7 is heart-powered.

Once a person becomes heart-aware with stage 6, there is just one short step for them to take to reach stage 7, which is the emergence of spiritual consciousness. The unconditional love that develops in both stages of heart-centered consciousness is the key to a bright future for humankind.

Stage 7 is about flexible flow, about adapting to a world full of change. It comes with big-picture views and the discovery of self-accountable, personal freedom.

Most people define freedom as freedom from some list of personal constraints. When you add self-discipline, it upgrades into an entirely new light. If you have the self-discipline to develop a desired skill, for example, forgoing many leisure-filled distractions for the mission at hand, you eventually gain the freedom to enjoy the fruits of being highly skilled in work that you love.

Stage 7 first started to appear, albeit sparsely, after the defeat of global fascism in World War II. While most people at that time looked forward to the renewed chance to create personal prosperity, the beat generation of the 1950s emerged with its questioning of materialistic culture. This emerging movement examined Eastern philosophies, such as Zen Buddhism, in a search for answers to the mysteries of life. As time went by and more examples appeared, its characteristics became more clearly defined.

In stage number seven, people act from an inner-directed core. Values come from fundamental, natural law, meaning that human rights are perceived as fundamental due to the fact that you exist.

By nature, seventh stage thinkers are self-accountable and independent within reason. They are honest in their communications and do not spend time on the rules of formality, unless they are important to others present. Seventh stage thinkers like technology for what it can do to improve life, and they value knowledge and competency more than rank or status.

They enjoy the pleasures of life in moderation and engage in activities that express their inner joy. External fashions and trends have no bearing upon these choices. They have emotional control, meaning that they express emotions to an appropriate and balanced degree.

This is a powerful stage in promoting the exploration of the greater possibilities of life and adapting to follow these opportunities.

Seventh stage thinkers are concerned with the environment and want to restore it to cleanliness and beauty. Their motivations include being independent within reason, knowledgeable and well-skilled, while caring for others within reasonable limits. They are accountable to themselves as responsible individuals, yet support their associates.

They can interact with people of the first six stages and speak their psychological language. On principle, they respect others’ worldviews, habits and cultures, even if they don’t necessarily agree with them.

This stage brings a high sense of self-esteem based upon information as much as emotion. It brings an enlightened self-acceptance which acknowledges and accepts their own shortcomings and faults as mere stages along the way to acquiring better skills.

With inspiration, love and creativity, a new dimension of living is born, one which can truly help create a new and heart-powered world.

My new book, The New Enlightenment: Transformation into an Age of Abundance, reveals the distinct stages of human consciousness and how the dawning New Enlightenment opens the door to a beautiful life filled with purpose, abundance, and true inner joy.
