The Beloved: “Let us be about another short foray into your thought patterns, for there is much which can stand the Light to be shone upon, and discover where there are negative weeds so deeply embedded in your psyche, that they have become habitual and are a reason for depression. You must be totally honest with yourself when you scrutinize these thoughts which give rise to gloomy feelings within you.
When you set out to master your negative habits of thought, you need to pay attention to the reason, in other words, what triggers those thoughts. Mortals often give in to the whims of their emotions, allowing themselves to be swept up into a mild hysteric anxiety. This is a well-known fact among the celestials who try to help humankind inspire better behavior patterns.
Destructive and negative self-talk diminishes self-esteem and, when persistent, can settle in the psyche, becoming most tenacious and very difficult to remove. It is normal to be gloomy occasionally when looking from an earthly perspective on all the happenings and rumors in and of the world, but these are only outward signs.
The true reason for unhappiness needs to be sought within. Outer circumstances may or may not affect you, depending on your inner strength and clarity. Needless to say, the strength of your own faith and trust ultimately shores you up to stand tall in the midst of strife and unhappiness, for you know from whence your inner strength comes.
Therefore, it follows that your time would be better spent exercising your faith and trust muscles rather than giving in to gloomy thoughts that pull you down into the doldrums from which it can be very difficult to extricate yourself. Shake your spiritual 'feathers' and breathe in the fresh air of My Divine Essence. Inhale My presence and refresh your soul, in the process, so you can meet the day's worries head-on and know that they are never as bad as they appear.”
