The energies of May are a blend of profound transformation, radical redirection, and stabilized momentum. It is a month that creates a major energetic bridge between deep alchemical purging and sudden breakthroughs.  The month started intensely, forcing a confrontation with old pain and outgrown behaviours, patterns, and habits. This energy initiated a long-term clearing of structural systems and old personal identities.

As the month has progressed, the energy shifted from a heavy emotional tone to a highly electrical buzz, which is now bringing breakthroughs, unexpected ideas, abrupt course corrections, and sudden liberating change. Despite the chaos, there is a tangible push to build sustainable foundations. The energy is fast-paced, which can increase overthinking, scattered focus, and impulsivity if not grounded.

Today, we move into the energy of this month’s New Moon. New Moons are new beginnings. They turn the page and open a new chapter that unfolds over the next two weeks. In the astrological sign of Taurus, this New Moon brings our attention to our material lives, inviting us to focus on the basics, stability and security, our self-worth, and value.  This New Moon creates a beautiful paradox. The energy demands that we slow down and simplify while receiving sudden flashes of insight, unexpected ideas, and rapid clarity. The key is not to rush out and force these new ideas into immediate action. Instead, you are being urged to align your mental breakthroughs with actual, core values.  It is a moment to look at the unexpected changes around you and ask: What is truly essential to my peace now?

This New Moon serves as a massive cosmic reset for your self-worth, reminding you that your value is inherent, not earned. It asks you to slow down so that you can receive, to look at where you are abandoning your own needs to keep up with the outer chaos, where you are spending your time and energy, and whether these align with your actual priorities.  Remember that you cannot rush a build that is meant to last a lifetime.
