At times it may feel like we are on an emotional roller coaster of sorts. One moment feeling the expansiveness of the times we are in, and the knowing that all that unfolding has purpose, and then in the next dropping into the depths of old wounds and patterns where hope and motivation seem lacking. This can create feelings of listlessness and emotional fatigue as we wonder whether our efforts have any real effect, or even if we are moving in the right direction.

These are intense and emotionally disorientating times which requires patience and trust. We cannot accomplish what needs to be accomplished by forcing anything or trying to rush solutions. There is an internal sorting process happening that at times may feel and look chaotic, but is in actuality enabling us to process and integrate what is being released and what is being birthed. This process involves letting go of old perspectives, beliefs, and aspects of our self-identity that no longer serve a purpose. It can be painful and disorientating and yet, despite the discomfort as the old self is released, space is created for the new to emerge. This birthing is an intense, creative and transformative experience which will ultimately culminate in a changed, and more empowered version of ourself.

As you move through this time embrace uncertainty. Recognize that life is non-linear and that periods of confusion are a natural part of growth. Rather than feeling shame or blame for the turmoil understand that it is a necessary part of the major life transition you are moving through. Accept that what is occurring is a much needed catharsis of the undercurrents of your emotional world, which is needed for you to find motivation and direction. Allow the purging to happen as it is what will amplifying your intuition and bring a new coherent vision.
