If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em” is a saying you have in your Earth plane existence. Take a moment and think about that statement and how many times you have said it. 

What does it really mean? In one, seemingly innocuous, sentence you are turning over your power and individuality to the mass consciousness. Once again, free will comes into play. 

It is completely up to you to allow yourself to be guided by your heart or to move with the crowd. The only thing The Universe asks is that you do what gives you the most joy.
