Eternal Beings on the Same One Journey

The graphic holds my attention. That is really what the situation is.
I should make a business card of it. No, wait. In ten years of having a business card, I haven’t given out more than a dozen. They’re great for “To Do” lists! Scratch that.
But doesn’t the picture say so much? All of us riding the train to the same destination? From the same origin? We should be sharing our lunch rather than criticizing what another is or has.
We’re all on the same one journey. How we journey is up to us. We can throw sticks and stones at each other or share cookies.
We can sit around the campfire and share about our journey. Or we can segregate from each other and mistrust.
We can hoard what we have or we can give of our excess freely, knowing the Mother will replenish, and that sharing creates social capital, goodwill.
It doesn’t change the fact that all of us are eternal beings who one day will reach the same destination. Great ride or bumpy ride – it’s up to us. (1)
When I dismantle all my life-denying strategies and open myself to happiness and love, my mood, my life is altogether transformed. I notice I’m still holding on to some elements of distrust and suspicion, but I also know that they will go and I feel patient.
It feels more like a clean-up job now than an impossible task.
