Ari Aalto and the Phoenix Project

I’ve asked Ari Aalto of Finland to tell us about his goals as a community activist and organizer in the creation of new (self-sufficient) housing/communities in Finland, especially in view of the chaos of the times.

Attached is a second discussion of what he has named the Phoenix Project.

Hi Steve

I actually have two separate goals.

Introduction

But first a very brief introduction:

We are in a crazy world at the moment and we awakened ones would be best served by pulling together.

This project that I have been working on for 20 years now will make the people who join it self-sufficient and independent of the perversions of our government.

The community I have designed will survive even if the rest of society grinds to a halt. We will still have electricity, heat, water and the food we grow ourselves. With the addition of small food producers who produce their produce solely for our community and the food we get from fishing, we will have no survival fears even if we have no money.

It is also important that our community is international. Each country has its own products to export.

It would also be easier to control the purity of products if there was close cooperation between the Community and producers. The current supply chains obscure the origin of products and make control impossible.

I seem to recall it was John Smallman who has mentioned on several occasions that in the future humanity will be divided into smaller communities living more in harmony with nature.

This project will do just that.

I would like to share this understanding with all readers and find those people who could be activists in their own area, and thus start to build their own community. When it grows big enough, to about 4-5 thousand people, it could build the facilities I have described for themselves, because they have everything they need for normal life.

Now would be a good time to start planning the pattern in more detail and when the RV comes in we would have the funds to start the actual construction. It would be quick once the plans were in place.

Objectives

Now we come to the two objectives.

The first would be the fervent wish for sponsors that would allow me to use professionals to create the necessary material, first the proper presentation material and then all the way up to the architectural plans. The best thing would be to have international cooperation already in the planning phase.

I am sure that we have architects and other necessary professionals among us.

I have designed almost everything down to the smallest detail so that I can answer almost any question that comes up.

And if that sponsorship could make life easier for me, that would be perfect, because I have planned everything at my own expense and have had to make painful decisions while sacrificing the rest of my life and earning potential for this project.

I want to let as many people as possible know about the existence of this project. I attach a second discussion of it.
